We purchased these sound panels to buffer some of the "kid noise" from the Children's Church room. We used this on the inside of the room. It turned out really well, and the echo noise from the videos and kids voices is muffled so as not to detract from the sermon next door. We were able to cut them easy enough with a sharp razor blade and a ruler. SO FAR ... the sticky backing has held up nicely, but time will tell.Installation was easy. Measure > cut (if needed) > peel the backing > stick to surfaceIt did come with additional double sided sticky tabs in the event that the sticky on the foam doesn't work.I did not notice an odor.The thickness is adequate for buffering noise.

I built a small office in my garage, and I'm on the phone for work all day. So I covered the entire office in these, and they work pretty well. But most of all, they just look freaking awesome. Really gives an awesome look to my office. Looks like a little recording studio now.

They’re okay. We used them to sound proof a dog kennel for a puppy we are kennel training so they couldn’t wake up our one year old at night. It didn’t really do much or anything at all? It only worked after we put blankets over top as well. I like the flus design though over the spikey ones maybe I would purchase again for my storm shelter.

Thick, dense felt tiles that are easy to install. They look great and have an interesting pattern to add to the appearance. I installed them on the walls behind my air compressor in my shop and they made a noticeable difference in the noise level as they prevent the noise from bouncing off the walls. They would be great in a theater room or sound studio!

Here are the positives: these are lightweight, have an incredible seal (despite them being very sticky, I have no clue if they will cause damage to surfaces/paint upon removal), and honestly do not cause much of a smell after a day or two. They are extremely simple and quick to install as well. Unfortunately, the praise ends there. I believe there is no noticable difference in the before and after when using this product. There are far too many factors to account for, as in speaker distance, wall depth, amount placed, etc. After placing all 8 along the wall clustered together (in an attempt to reduce noise from my set of bookshelf speakers at a reasonably low volume), I have been told that everyone can still hear (CLEARLY) every word/sound. There is absolutely no bass dampening, so all vibrations can be heard in the vicinity of the noise. For this to not work as intended and be the price it is? You are better off spending your money on something else.
