Just received this and I used it for the first time today. The guide wire pretty quickly wound off of the plastic tubing, but I didn't really need it. I used both of the attachments and was pleased that they connected to my Dyson, even though the vacuum end wasn't perfectly round. The adapter's plastic is supple enough that it molded around the shape and had powerful suction. Everything traveled into the vacuum and the tubing seems pretty clean after the fact. I ended up using the flat attachment to reach under the washer to vacuum, and it sucked up a cap that was down there that made it all the way up to the adapter where I was able to retrieve it. The plastic held up well against the vent trap door while still bending around into the vent escape. I'm quite pleased so far!

This attaches great to the vacuum hose and suctions deep down into the dryer vent opening. Very easy to use.

I bought a similar one that I really liked a long time ago but then someone used the hose piece for water drainage. I settled for this as a replacement. It works as intended and does a decent job clearing out the lint trap of my dryer. My biggest issue is that it squeals horribly and I've used different vacuums but the hose causes the most annoying high pitched squeal. Luckily it doesn't require long usage time but it's still annoying. Also the lack of instructions I have no clue if I'm using the metal rod correctly or not. So it just is there. Also the attachment piece is difficult to comfortably insert into all vacuum hoses. It works universally but I foresee it becoming loose or molding into its own shape at some point. It was cheap and it works I suppose.
