I picked up the FSP Hydro Ti PRO 1000W for a high-end build, and it’s been flawless so far. The Titanium efficiency rating is no joke—power draw is impressively low even under load, and the unit stays cool and quiet thanks to the large fan and smart thermal design. Build quality feels premium across the board. Fully modular cables are sturdy and easy to route, and the compact size made installation smooth even in a mid-tower case. It’s also ATX 3.0 compliant, so it’s ready for next-gen GPUs and includes the new 12V-2x6 connector. Performance-wise, it’s rock solid. No coil whine, no voltage dips, and it handles everything from gaming to rendering without breaking a sweat. For the price, especially considering the 10-year warranty, it’s a fantastic value. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a reliable, future-proof PSU.

Absolute beast of a power supply! Titanium efficiency is no joke—it runs dead silent even under heavy gaming loads. The 12V-2x6 cable is clean and easy to route. Easily one of the best ATX 3.1 PSUs on the market.

Solid PSU so far. Cables a bit stiff but manageable. You may get a smell from the flux or adhesive but that goes away after 2 weeks, at least it did for me. Looks solid but it's honestly behind my psu shroud so not like I notice it. Modular, and cables are decently thick. Enough cables for my 2 harddrives, 2 sata ssd drives, and that fancy 12V gpu cable is hear is a fire hazard. Powers my system well and no coil whine; in fact it is silent mostly. MSI x570 ProCarbon Wifi with 5950x OC 4.5ghz, and a MSI Trio 5070ti.

Probably the best PSU you can buy for the price, size, and power efficiency. I have had no issues since installing it and it is powering a 9800x3D, 9070 XT, Arctic 360 AIO, B850M M-ATX motherboard, 2 x Gen4 NVME, 1 Gen3 NVME, and 3 x 120mm fans. Having the extra watts will help when upgrading in the future.

Re: FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000W I got this based on a good review at "Hardware Busters" and it being an ATX 3 power supply. Hardware busters gave it very high marks for performance. -Pros *) Quiet, at least for my setup *) Seems to work well. *) Not as giant as say the (non-ATX 3) 1000W ROG THOR :-) *) Graphics power is PCIe 12V-2x6 of course. *) Came well packaged. -Cons *) Some cables have stiff sleeves at one end around the outside of the cable bundle which make it clunky to position. See the attached photo for a picture of the ATX power cable where there is a large stiff section near the MB connector and to some extent the Graphics power connector as well. *) Cabling was otherwise generally adequate. But not as nice as some other high end supplies have. *) Minor point, but the single giant sheet of instructions didn't seem to list power capabilities for each cable anywhere. Overall it works well, but I wish it didn't have the stiff cable sections on the ATX and Graphics card cables. Edit: Clarify that the stiff section is only at the end of some cables (the ATX and Grahics card power cables).

Super quiet, very robust unit that runs nice and cool. Plenty of high quality cables included. Great value as far as PSUs go.

This PSU is amazing. Cybernetics shows 93-94% efficiency at typical consumption with 115v input, while also having A++ noise rating. Basically the highest end components out there are in this unit. Compare other 1000w PSUs in the same price range and you'll find their efficiency isn't as good and their noise rating isn't as good, meaning they cheaped out somewhere. Someone at FSP wanted to make a no-compromise PSU, and this is it. There are some complaints in the reviews here about the cables being cheap. They're standard ATX power cables, and they deliver power like they should. All my system's voltage readings are ideal even with a 7950X3D and 4090 under full load. If you're building a showpiece PC, you're going to want super fancy cables from a 3rd party anyway. If not, you just want cables that do their job. I'd much rather FSP put another $40 into quality PSU components while maintaining a reasonable price point, versus including individually stranded cables I don't need, and on a bunch of cables most people will never even see/use.

This power supply beats everything else on the market, on virtually every metric. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but you're absolutely getting the best PSU available in the range of 1 kW or below. I just wish they still offered it in the 850W form, as that was a better fit for my needs. However, the efficiency of this unit is so good that the only downside of having to buy in 1000W form was just a little added cost. One unexpected benefit is that it's a little smaller than my 750W Seasonic Prime, which is about an inch longer. The only downside I could find is that the cables are indeed rather stiff. The one that caused me the most trouble was the motherboard power cable, which I had a lot of trouble routing and connecting up to the PSU, since the drive cage in my case is close enough that it needed to make a bend tighter than it wanted to. Here's where being a little bit shorter probably saved the day, as I was ultimately able to make it work without having to cut into the cable sleeve. Something else to note is that its inrush current is a little high, but not enough to cause any problems for my 1500VA / 900W UPS. It could be an issue with smaller units and someone told me it would pop a 15A breaker when they turned on their PC and the air conditioner was running on the same circuit, at the same time. However, there are PSUs with much higher inrush current and most people seem to have no issues with this. A final observation I made is that it took quite a while for the DC side of the PSU to energize, when I first plugged it in. It took maybe 20 seconds or so, before the power button on my PC's case would actually turn on the machine. However, on successive attempts, the delay shrank to just a couple seconds. So, I think that's only an issue if the PSU has been switched off for like a day or more. Personally, I do not recommend using Eco-mode, as it's better for the life of the PSU's capacitors if you keep them cooler. When the PSU is under low load, I'm sure its fan uses only a trivial amount of power and is basically inaudible, so I recommend leaving this switch off.
