Finally, a timer big enough for my caveman hands!👋 Been using it for 6 months: no errors thus far and it's still pretty loud!👍 All the ones I bought in stores before, had stopped working weeks in or only rang half the time at half volume.🔉 However, if you're sensitive to sudden loud sound or lack room for a clock this big, this may not be right for you.💦

I thought its a manual clock its self explanatory but wrong! I thought this thing was broken for almost a month but it turns out its not! I just didnt read the back of the box or instructions! You have to spin it clockwise to 55minutes THEN after you twist it back down to what you actually want, like 2 minutes. If you dont twist it to 55 first it wont wind up the mechanism that sets off the sound when it is done. Once you realize that it is perfect! I 100% LOVE it now that I realized it isnt broke lol. And I LOVE that the back has multiple options to put it up, its got a spot to put on a nail, its got magnets for the fridge, and its got a stand for if you want it on a shelf or your kids nightstand/dresser! Definitely worth the purchase! A parental must have! You can use it for time out, or clean up, or to let your kid know how much time they have to play before you have to leave the house to go to school etc.

I love this timer. I have ptsd so loud noises scare me, but I also have adhd so a timer comes in handy multiple times a day, if even just setting it to remind myself to remember something “in a bit”. This very cute timer’s bell isn’t so jarring that it scares me. And the visual aid of the adorable rainbow makes both me and my 5 year old happy. I did knock off one star bc it doesn’t always ring anymore after about 5 months… which perhaps is worth knocking off more than one star seeing as that’s the point of the whole thing. It’s never been dropped or abused in any way. I’ll contact the seller and reform my review if they can help me fix the issue.

While the dialing counter-clockwise for each setting is a bit of a downer, that is the only negative to this timer. The bright coloured, rainbow theme would be a welcome addition to any classroom or nursery. The large dial is perfect for small hands as it is easily manipulated. Kids WANT to use this timer. We use it for everything from homework to baking and meal times. The magnets at the back allow you to affix the timer to any metal surface and these magnets are not ‘child’s-play.’ They are super strong and you can hang this timer without worry of slippage or falling. The timer presents an excellent visual to track the passage of time and time remaining. It can also be used to teach the concept of time as it’s easy to change from minute to minute. This timer is up for anything that you may need or any challenge that you ‘set’ it to.
