Performs as well or better than posted and expected. Even with limited solar exposure gives several hours of light after sunset. Sturdy, classy, easy to assemble in seconds and well-built... Only weakness is stability since by design the product is top heavy. The built-in spikes are helpful but require reinforcement to avoid tipping and damaging the lamp and housing. As such, tying off to a tree branch or fence post can limit this risk.

Purchase six of these and will purchase more later. They are easy to put together with no tools just your hands. They came fairly fast and we're all and working condition. They are white light and weight and will tip over if you don't brace them down but they do look realistically like wrought iron even though they're just aluminum with black powder coating &plastic. If you want some quick lighting around a dark area I would recommend these because the light is bright enough that it will do just that. UPDATE-OKAY SO I PURCHASED SIX MORE OF THESE LIGHTS AND JUST LIKE THE OTHERS THEY CAME FAIRLY FAST AND WE'RE PACKAGED VERY WELL. WITH THIS SIX WHICH WAS THREE PACKS OF TWO PACK THEY WERE ALL THE SAME AS THE OTHERS EXCEPT ONE OF THE STAKES BROKE EASILY JUST FROM INSERTING IT INTO THE POLE. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THESE LIGHTS IS HOW EASY THEY ARE TO PUT TOGETHER AND VERY VERY LIGHTWEIGHT SO YOU CAN EASILY MOVE THEM AROUND. WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THESE LIGHTS IS I'VE NOTICED THE LIGHT DISPLAY IS NOT AS GREAT IF YOU HAVE IT AT ITS TALLEST HEIGHT BUT IF YOU BRING IT DOWN SOME THEN IT SEEMS TO PUT OUT MORE LIGHT AT LEAST THAT'S BEEN MY EXPERIENCE. THE OTHER THING THAT'S VERY DISAPPOINTING ABOUT THESE LIGHTS AND NEED SOME KIND OF IMPROVEMENT IS THE FACT THAT IF YOU'RE PUTTING THEM IN THE GROUND AND YOU'RE USING THE STAPLES THAT COME WITH IT TO HAMMER INTO THE GROUND FOR THE STABILITY, YOU WILL GET FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THEY JUST SIMPLY DO NOT ANCHOR DOWN INTO THE GROUND THAT WELL AND IF YOU ARE USING ONE OF THOSE RUBBER HAMMERS TO HELP BEAT THE NAILS DOWN IF YOU HIT IT TOO HARD YOU WILL CRACK THE DOME PART THAT THE GROUND STAKE FITS INTO, TRUST ME I CRACKED ONE OF MINE BUT THINK GOODNESS I COULD STILL MAKE IT WORK SO JUST A HEADS UP BE PREPARED IF YOU'RE STAKING INTO THE GROUND THAT YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED TO DO WHAT I DID AND THAT'S REINFORCED STABILITY OF THE LAMP POST WITH SOME GOOD HEAVY ROCKS BECAUSE THE STAPLE NAILS JUST DO NOT WORK WELL. I GAVE ONLY FOUR STARS FOR THIS PURCHASE BECAUSE OF ONE OF THE DOMES CRACKING SO EASILY AND ALSO BECAUSE & I DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL I BOUGHT THE SECOND SET OF THESE THAT THE BULBS DO NOT COME OUT SO THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED LIKE A LOT OF OTHER LANTERN POST LIGHTS & INSTEAD THE BULB IS INTEGRATED INTO THE PANEL AND IF THE BULB FAILS YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY TO FIND THE WHOLE REPLACEMENT WHICH WOULD CONTAIN THE PANEL AND THE BULB AND I'VE LOOKED ON AMAZON AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THEM SO THAT KIND OF SUCKS BECAUSE IF THE BULB FAILS THE WHOLE LAMP POST IS USELESS AND IF THERE IS A REPLACEMENT AND IT COST MORE THAN THE WHOLE LAMP POST ITSELF THEN THAT'S NOT GOOD EITHER. I SPENT QUITE A BIT ON SOLAR LIGHTING SO IT'S AN INVESTMENT TO ME AND I EXPECT IT TO LAST EVEN THOUGH IT'S MADE OF PLASTIC AND ALUMINUM SO IT'S VERY DISAPPOINTING TO KNOW THAT THE ITEM WAS DESIGNED IN A WAY YOU CANNOT JUST SIMPLY CHANGE THE BULB YOU HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE PANEL WITH THE BULB AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, HOWEVER I AM WISHFULLY HOPING THAT THE BULB WILL LAST A VERY LONG TIME AND I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND THESE LIGHTS.

Easy to put together - no instructions instructions- can make them short or fully 6 ft tall. We're using them short between drive way and path to front door - they work great event thru windy , rainy days - bright and really light way ~ while looking casually elegant...good quality lamp for the money. Yes I would recommend buying :)

Only reason I am giving this 3 stars is because the lantern is decent. The solar works well & gives off good light at night. But the pole & base are super cheap & flimsy. The top of the pole where the lantern screws in broke the first night. Wish they would have made the mounts & base more sturdy because the light is really nice. Only way these would work is if you tied it to a railing on a deck. I put one through the umbrella hole of my outside table.

Horrible. Lights will NOT turn on. Like the summer sun isn’t strong enough

These work surprisingly well, even in low-light Pennsylvania winters. They’re not super bright, but they do a decent job of lighting up the area around them. The plastic spike thing is not super durable, but it works well enough for the price.
