10/10 do NOT recommend.
Very comfortable on the foot and very lightweight. However, the build quality of the set I received is EXTREMELY poor. I've had these since 17 January 2026 and as I currently write on 29 January 2026 I've already noticed a hole on the material just above the ankle, and one of the eyelets (5th eyelet from the bottom on the observers left side) lost the metal backing. Mind you, I'm wearing these for use in a hospital environment. I'm severely disappointed at the terrible performance of these with Merrell having such a great reputation for their footwear. These boots definitely do not reflect that.

Don’t buy, uncomfortable
Gave me blisters and they became way too broken in , in a matter of 2 days they began to tear and didn’t last a good 10 miles

Lightweight
Great boots so far took about a week to break in the area around the laces is tight but a lightweight boot looks like they’re gonna hold up always a great product from Merrill.

Great boots bad insoles
These boots have been a let down for me. I definitely heard better things from my coworkers about Merrell boots. As far as looks I say these are great. But as far as comfort these feel terrible. I feel every step I take in these boots not in a good way. (You can easily buy new insoles) Apart from the insole portion these boots are great. I haven’t had any water issues or issues with how they fit overtime. Currently been wearing them for a couple months now and they’ve shown great durability.

Started ripping
It's a good boot but it started ripping after just a couple weeks of use by the laces. Too bad. I also was not able to get a replacement with Merrell because I bought it through Amazon. And I couldn't do returns through amazon b/c of where I lived.

Uncomfortable
Truly I have no idea how these boots are as uncomfortable as they are. I expected better from a company like Merrell but yikes. Somehow they manage to put pressure on every single bony prominence on my ankles. They fit great, but no matter what I did to adjust the fabric or the folds it just caused me so much pain. They look good, the cost is average and expected, but I’ll be returning them because I literally can’t keep them on.

Loved my first pair, this one however..
Didn't get three miles out of these. Pulling them on was enough to tear them apart. Light as a feather, comfortable as they come, durable like paper. Second photo shows how little they were used.
