Easy Action Micro-Tip Titanium Scissors, Sharp Blades for Cutting Precision and Angles with Easy Action Spring Design, Crafting Supplies, SoftGrip Assisted Handle

I have been buying Fiskars Easy Action Micro-tips for years since I tried my first pair. I've always liked them, but even more so in recent years as my hands have started developing arthritis. The spring action means you only exert half the effort it takes to open and close traditional lever-action scissors, and the lack of the otherwise necessary finger loops means no more sore fingers and thumbs if you have lots of cutting to perform. Depending on how often I use them and what I am using them to cut, they last a remarkably long time. However, I do use them quite often, and I like having several pairs in various craft kits I keep packed for specific crafts and classes. Despite their fine engineering and quality, they will wear out at some point, so I have had to replace them occasionally. That is what drew me to these was the titanium coating on the blades. I use titanium coated sewing needles and have concluded that they stay sharp longer than standard steel needles. Though I have bought the Easy Action Micro-tips at stores like Joann Fabrics and Michael's, I have not see the titanium blades available at those retailers. So far, I like these enough to have bought a couple of extra pairs; only time will tell if they last longer than the regular ones.

After using them for a bit. I wanna say, I have purchased probably 20+ different scissors in the last 5 years. I've been trying to find the best ones I can get for general cutting, for arts/craftsDIY, for trimming and cutting my dogs hair, for food preparation etc.... and everything in between. The two scissors shown in my picture - I've got about 20 pairs of scissors, these are the only 2 I use now. (actually, I also use a craft/artisan knife ($5-10) and a lovely CARL rotary trimmer to get perfect straight lines) All the rest I use on stuff that's going to dull their blades fast and then they'll be thrown away. The Fiskar is #1, and the other one also bought on amazon is #2. Serve different purposes; Fiskar for cutting through anything *cleanly* *easily* and most importantly with very precise control. It also lets you maintain perfectly straight lines for far longer than is possible with a standard design pair of scissors. Think cutting a perfectly straight line out of the edge of a cardboard box. The other one is sort of the 'handles all else.' It's got a titanium coated temperature hardened blade. And they're BIG. If it's possible for something that can be called "scissors" to cut through something, these ones will do it. Thus after dozens and dozens of ordering and testing what works for me, this fiskar product and the other scissors in my picture are the result.

These things cut amazing but I wouldn't expect less from Fiskars. They are super sharp. Used them to do some crafts with my granny. We made pompoms and they cut through several strands of yarn like it was nothing. She loved them so much that she's buying her own set. The grip is nice even for small hands & very comfortable to use. They aren't too heavy & the spring open assistance helps with fatigue. The cost difference between these titanium ones and the regular version seems a bit steep but maybe they will last longer? That remains to be seen. Still I'm very happy with them.

These are remarkable little scissors. My wife says they are the sharpest and best she has ever used for quilting. Price was excellent. They are very precise and easy to handle and use. Excellent value.

Best scissors for crafting. They are comfortable, a good size for small hands and not too heavy. I have arthritis in my hands and these cut great and are comfortable. I also like them became they don't pinch your fingers like other scissors. Fiskars always make a great product. I highly recommend.

These are sharp!! Because they have a spring for easy use, these have a convenient slide lock to keep them closed when not in use. Nice design for real world convenience.

Perfect size for making cuts on a rag time quilt. Doesn’t hurt my hand or require much effort. Seems like great quality
