I’m really impressed with this GLEDOPTO ESP32 WLED LED Strip Controller! Setup was easier than I expected, and it worked great right out of the box with my existing LED strips. The WLED firmware is super flexible, and I had it connected to my WiFi and running custom presets in just a few minutes. What I love most is the music dynamic mode. The built-in mic picks up sound really well and makes the lights pulse and change color to the beat of whatever song I’m playing. It adds so much energy to parties and even just casual movie nights. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the whole thing feels very responsive. Overall a fun, reliable controller that’s perfect if you want customizable lighting and cool effects without spending hours on setup. Highly recommend!

So I have mixed feelings about this product. I have at least six of this controller used with WLED and they do work good. Their big flaw is the wire connectors. I really wish they used standard Phoenix style wire connectors. You must push down on what looks like a plastic screw to open the wire jaw and then slide in the wire. Once the wire has been inserted you let up on the spring-loaded clamp. It is hard to push down and you feel like you will break it. Make sure you pull on the wire as many times it does not clamp correctly. It is so bad I saw another model that had levers but it was actually worse than this one. That all said, once you get your wires connected it really is a nice unit. I would say also they make an ESP32 and one that uses the lesser ESP8266. Make sure you get the ESP32 as you really do need the extra power of the Dual Core ESP32.

These have become my go-to WLED controllers. The fact that they have lever terminals, a barrel jack for power, and feature a SSR for power control, and support a variety of different voltages means that they have just about everything I could ask for in a simple controller. I've bought 3 so far and will happily continue to buy more as projects come up

Setup was the easiest of my wled controllers due to the quick connects for the wires. Connected to the wled app right away and works seamlessly with my other controllers. I should have bought more with the sale price I got this one at!

Pretty cool LED controller! The app has A TON of options to customize your lights and was way more than I expected. Wanted a controller that I could make my own sequences or patterns and this is perfect.

The instructions show an internal USB port to reflash the code. These boards do not have any internal USB headers. They were flashed and then soldered to the boards.

Pretty straight-forward and easy to use/setup controller. Worked very well for my setup with WS2815 lights!
