The clarity is better than I remember the original being and the price is great. The dealer wanted over $900 for the camera and installation. It is hard to remove hatch panel, but it should be easy for the dealer with the correct tools and knowledge. The camera was a snap to replace. It even has good night vision, which the original was always weak on. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Good quality picture (actually probably better than the factory camera) and pretty easy to install with a trim removal kit i also purchased on Amazon ($17?) and watching a YouTube video. Start to finish the process probably took me maybe 25 minutes, faster than the time it would have been just to drop it off at a mechanic.

Fit perfect for a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. Image is clear and camera works well. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because when you put the car in reverse it takes about a second or two longer for the camera to activate compared to the factory camera. But for the price you can't beat it. My original factory camera got blurry and factory camera from GM was $140 and this was less than a quarter of that price so I'm happy.

Worked great in my 2011 GMC Terrain. It fit like it was supposed to and all I had to do when I got the other camera out was plug it in and pop it in the hole and it sits still.

Very pleased with the picture quality. Installation was difficult because mounting hardware didn’t fit properly. Recommend to save original mounting hardware to install new camera. Ok price.

Do not purchase this backup camera. My car is an early 2016 Chevrolet Cruz LTZ crossover. I’ve had several problems with this new camera. First, once I got it installed with the engine running the reverse lights were on, even though the car was in park. Second, problem caused my car to show engine warnings with the emission sensors. Third, with the camera being activated, the view was more like I was looking through a football shape lens. Fourth, my car would not shut off normally. I push the Start /Stop button once to turn it off and the engine would keep running with no instrument lights illuminated, but then I had to push the Start/Stop button the second time to actually get the motor to shut off and then the instrument panel would be illuminated. And the third push the button would finally turn off the illumination of the instrument panel. Fifth and final, the camera was made in China. My future purchase will be OEM made by General Motors. It does cost about three times more, but I don’t run the risk of damaging my car and his computer.

Exact fit. Easy to install once you get the old one out.

Works for my 2015 Chevy Cruze. Clear picture with the parking lines. Comes on quick when put into reverse but slight delay going back to radio screen. I had to use the provided wiring harness not the factory one because of the tight fit but it fit.
