I keep the mask in the freezer, and it feels hard. However, after a dew minutes, it softens and becomes more comfortable.

I bought this, along with two other, mask in anticipation of upcoming surgery. This one proved to be the most comfortable and convenient to use. I've actually discarded the others and have solely used this for a full week after surgery. Gel when frozen is easy to shape to your face. One side is soft fabric, as opposed to the others which were just plastic. The mask is held in place by a wide elastic band. What more can I say ... It's a good buy!

I suffer from severe puffy eyes. I am not a big fan of cremes since my skin is very sensitive. I read online that the best relief for puffy eyes is a gel cold compress eye mask. I then confirmed with my eye doctor and he prescribed that I try a cold eye mask. I put it in the freezer and used it the next morning. After using it for several days, I can confirm that I can see some relief for my puffy eyes. I am sure that over time I will see more and more relief. I recommend putting on some music and then setting your alarm for twenty minutes. It is a great way to relax. I will buy this for a gift for sure.

don’t waste your money. i bought “the best” precisely because i didn’t want to waste time with a cheap item. good at first and as others have reported, after very infrequent the bad stitching came apart and sticky beads everywhere. this costs twice as much, yet you can’t get in direct touch with seller to resolve. don’t waste your money. it’s clever marketing backed up by nothing. i regularly recommend gel masks so know two others with same issue. its not even as good as $15 ones and now you can also heat those (i’m trying Thrive brand now)

I bought this for recovery after eye surgery. Tried it on. Felt excellent. Just one problem: the strap is just too tight (I don't have a particularly large head), and I'm afraid it'll put way too much pressure on my eyelids. Very disappointed in this one thing, because otherwise, it's a great product. I will cut the elastic and expand it with a few safety pins as I really think this can work, as long as the pressure isn't too great. add-on after original review: tried cutting the strap and expanding it with safety pins, but it's just not strong enough. why didn't MediViz make an exapndable strap with velcro??? i've taken off an extra star because sadly this is going to the trash - such a pity, as the materials are all good, but with an expandable strap option, it's a waste of money (unless you have a child's head!).

Expensive but worth the money. Good quality.
