This calculator is amazing. Reliable and perfect for my daughter for every day use at school. It easy use, the display is clear and easy to read . The size is ok for hand held. It works for easy to advance calculations. It look likes its built to last for long time.. I highly recommend to students and who need a dependab calculator..

Takes a little getting used to at first, but it becomes easy with practice. Like most Casio products, it’s reliable and packed with useful functions. The solar and battery power option is a big plus.

This is a fantastic calculator with the usual Casio layout. I can read the display clearly in any lighting conditions (well, except for a very dark room), making it excellent for use outdoors or in a dim room. Numbers aren't as large as on most basic calculators, but their boldness and excellent contrast ensures they are just as legible. If your trusty fx-115MS finally died on you, this is as close as it gets to a direct replacement. Do NOT spring for the current fx-115ES unless you work in a well-lit office environment. I mainly use my calculator to work out angles and dimensions for woodworking and 3D modeling (at home) and machining (at work). I don't know how sturdy or dust-proof it is, but I absolutely trust it over my fragile, expensive smartphone to have in a work environment. Or any environment. I can't stand touch screens. Speaking of which...you may struggle to use this calculator with thick leather gloves, but with skinnier mechanic-type gloves you shouldn't have any issues. Spacing for the main number keys is 1/2" x 7/16" (13mm x 11mm) and spacing for the smaller keys in the upper block is 7/16" x 3/8" (11mm x 9mm). Definitely not as big as a basic calculator's keypad, but it's been perfectly fine for me.

This genuine Casio calculator is awesome in 90% of all ways. Fortunately, the instructions are readable, understandable, complete, helpful, and very necessary! (Calculators that look almost exactly like this one but are selling for even lower prices have horribly written, totally useless instructions). HOW TO STORE A NUMBER INTO MEMORY: Press =, then press SHFT, then press RCL, then press M+, then press = HOW TO RECALL A NUMBER FROM MEMORY: Press =, then press RCL, then press M+, then press = TO CLEAR THE MEMORY: Enter 0(zero), then press =, then press SHFT, then press RCL, then press M+, then press = TO TURN OFF THE CALCULATOR: Press SHFT, then press AC TO NEGATE, THEN UN-NEGATE, THEN RE-NEGATE, A NUMBER THAT IS ALREADY DISPLAYED: Press =, then press (-), then press =, then press = again, then press = again, then press = again TO GET THE RECIPROCAL, THEN GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL NUMBER: Press =, then press x-1, then press =, then press x-1, then press =, then press = again, then press = again TO CALCULATE 2 TO THE 7TH POWER: Enter 2, then press =, then press ^, then enter 7, then press =, then see the answer, which is 128 MY CONCLUSION: *This genuine Casio is much better than the cheaper copies of this calculator made by Dexin, Flutesan, Karuida, Renus, or generic (no brand name), partly because their instructions are horribly written, illegible, incomplete, and totally useless. *Casio shows poor judgment in making the STORE INTO MEMORY and RECALL FROM MEMORY functions so difficult and hazardous to use on their modern calculators. In the past, it was much easier to store and recall numbers from memory. *Overall, because this calculator looks so nice, I've decided to keep on using it forever.

Works perfectly! I needed a non-graphing calculator for school, and I’m going to be honest — I looked for the cheapest one possible. But this one has worked great! I would choose this one again if I were to go back in time.
