I don't generally write many reviews, as I'm quite critical, but I want to shout out this excellent portable speaker. It's been extremely user friendly, far easier to set up and use the Bluetooth features than my previous Bose or JBL. The sound quality isn't as good as my $400 Bose, but for the discount I bought this at, it's perfect for my daily needs. I highly recommend it if you're in the market for a solid sounding, easy to use Bluetooth speaker under $200. You can't be at the quality for the price. I'll update the rating if this thing dies in the next few years, otherwise I'm looking forward to using this for some time.

I LOVE!!! this speaker! I have had the Megaboom 3 since 2020, and today , 5 years later it is as perfect as the day I bought it. Its size is not too big, but it easily works for a fairly big party. The sound quality is amazing. The battery life is incredible. All that they say about this product is true. The new one, Megaboom 4 is just as great, with crispy and deep bass.

Sounds great, easy to connect. Be aware that there is NO charging cord that comes with this. Luckily we had a another cord for charging, but I wasn't aware that the cord does not come with it. Personally, I think this is ridiculous as we spent close to $200 on this, and they can't provide a cord.

How can I give anything other than one star to a speaker that randomly and regularly fluctuates from my setting of 50 in volume to zero or even 100 numerous times every day? I'll be across the room, and the video I was listening to goes silent. Or I'll have these on tables on my bed 2 feet from my ears, and, suddenly, the volume is SCREAMING AT ME when I go to start a video because the volume crept up on its own volition. Take notice, Ultimate Ears team: I reached out to you by chat, and your simpleton AI robot ended the chat on me not once but twice because your team was too understaffed or too lazy to help me. I wish Ultimate Ears weren't owned by Logitech, which has caused me to contact support for ALL FOUR speakers I've ever purchased except for the THIRD Z906 speaker set I owned for a minute while kept sealed before I sold it so I didn't have to deal with more problems. Yep, Logitech had to replace that piece of junk two times, with the final one getting shipped to me because my second set died on the last day of warranty coverage. Although the Megaboom 4 speakers sound good, this volume issue has destroyed my experience. I know the problem rests with the speakers and not my iPad Mini because the latter never had any issue with any of the roughly five other Bluetooth speakers I've used before. Additionally, Megaboom 4 speakers, when used as a stereo pair, have a lot of lipsync issues. Audio is clearly behind video, especially when using with a Hisense M2 Pro projector. If you can find Tribit Stormbox Pro speakers, get them instead.

Great sound.

I love the Boom speaker. My Boom 3 was super tough, waterproof, and even survived my son leaving it on a car hood and it flying off at 60 mph. It didn't survive a semi running it over though. But hey, that's how I got my Boom 4! I totally love it! It's loud, has surround sound, is waterproof, and the battery lasts forever.

Amazing sound. This speaker sounds like it’s bigger then it is. I haven’t tried out the floating/waterproof features yet, but if I can drop this in the pool in the summer I will be stoked.

Constant glitching and poor sound quality. I've tried it with and without the app, all my firmware is updated. I currently use a Note 20 Ultra with Spotify for listening to music. I've tried adjusting the audio codecs, the sound quality on Spotify, with and without strong wifi/data, etc. Sometimes the sound quality improves when I restart the speaker, phone, or both (SOMEtimes), but do I really want to be doing that every time I listen to music? My sister has the same model that she runs with an iphone, and has tried with both Spotify AND Apple Music, but has the same intermittent glitch delay (which KILLS the music vibe). This is my first experience with a UE product (which came highly recommended) and so far, has been very frustrating. Please fix!!

Purchased this speaker based on the Rtings review, very happy about its performance. Powerful and with details, sound very comfortable. I had a Bose revolve sound link and JBL charge 3 for years. To compare the sound among them 3, the difference is so obvious to the ears.
