SwitchBot did it again! Great product & easy setup & connect to my SwitchBot hub. Very important to me for keeping watch 24/7 on my houseboat bilges & engine compartment for water intrusion, while I’m not at the boat !!

I bought these because I have to filter my water for my saltwater aquarium. I use 5 gallon buckets and they fill so slow I would forget about them and i would have water everywhere. I just clipped one alarm on the inside of the bucket and it worked beautifully! The alarm is loud enough to get your attention, but not awfully loud. It alarmed 4 times and my floors are dry! It stopped alarming immediately when the sensor is taken out of the water. I am going to put 1 under my sink and 1 by the sump pump in the basement.

The leak detector has been installed for over one month and is working properly. Giving me peace of mind.

I have had fish tanks for years. I've overflowed buckets of water more times than I can count. (Or that my husband is aware of, lol). One time it ran all night long..Hardwood floors. Says it all. I could have avoided so much work if I knew this handy little device existed. What a life changing item! So easy! I hang it over the bucket about 2" and use a chip clip to hold it in place. Then I turn on my R.O. faucet and walk away. I can hear it beep pretty much everywhere on the first floor. I did the wifi hookup also (not necessary to use) and also get email messages. My husband said he wishes I found this year's ago. Me too. Super easy to use and WORTH EVERY PENNY.

This works as advertised. I used it as a remote tank monitor as it filled several miles from where I was. When the tank filled to the level I had placed the probe, I was notified by the switchbot and went and turned the water off. This freed me up for other things and not tied down watching the water level. Worth every penny I paid.

Maybe I got a bad unit, or maybe I had high expectations for a wifi-connected device that runs on AAA batteries. It works great for about 48 hours. But, the batteries only last a couple of days. I've tried several different brands of brand new quality batteries. They all die within 48 hours. Not a very useful device to detect a water leak if it's dead...

Simple setup reliable results great for peace of mind

I was looking for something to put by my water softener to detect the leak just in case. I’ve had some pipes leaking before and didn’t notice. Luckily, it didn’t do any damage. I put this on, tested it with a wet paper towel. Seems to work great set it up to send me a text if there’s any leaks great for standalone if you need a bunch of them, you might consider something different.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Handy multiple points with the cable to get it into difficult spaces. Also works with Homey.

J’ai acheté le détecteur de fuite d’eau SwitchBot pour sécuriser mon appartement, et j’en suis très satisfait. L’installation est ultra simple : il suffit de placer le capteur à l’endroit souhaité et de le connecter à l’application SwitchBot, sans besoin de hub supplémentaire. Je l’ai installé sous mon chauffe-eau et je prévois d’en installer un autre prochainement sous mon évier équipé d’un système de filtration avancé. Le détecteur est très sensible, il réagit immédiatement à la moindre trace d’eau et déclenche une alarme sonore. J’apprécie aussi la réception de notifications instantanées sur mon smartphone, ce qui me rassure même lorsque je ne suis pas chez moi. Le design est compact et discret, il se glisse facilement sous un évier ou près d’une machine à laver. L’autonomie annoncée est excellente, et il fonctionne avec des piles classiques. Le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment bon pour un appareil connecté de ce type. Je recommande ce détecteur à tous ceux qui veulent éviter les mauvaises surprises liées aux fuites d’eau !

Lo compré para vigilar la lavadora y otro para el aparato de osmosis (tengo un sótano que se inunda cuando menos lo esperas). Es una chiquitina que te salva de sorpresas. Lo mejor: Detecta agua en 1-2 segundos y el móvil explota con notificaciones, app perfecta, batería que dura más de un año y se conecta directo al Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz sin hub. Es lo que más valoro conjuntamente a tener el detector con cable o en dispositivo de manera que puedes tambien viligar que el agua no llegue a un cierto nivel.

initial issue: I placed the batteries, and tried the sensor cable, it straight up doesn't work, the sensor on the front of the device does, but no the back and the sensor cable, useless Edit: there are tiny pins behind the device, if you realize that your cable doesn't work either, push the pins forward with something and put the cache back on this device is amazing, you get an alarm that you can tone down or straight up disable it, and still have the notifications on your phone, i use it in a 70L trash bin that i use to store water for aquarium water changes that i have marked with different quantities of water (20,30,40,50,60L) i placed the cable sensor in and hold it with a magnet on the exterior so i can adjust the height of it and get a notification when my RO water reaches the desired amount of water i need

Lo utilizo en mi despensa y en el cuarto de la piscina, y estoy muy satisfecho. La aplicación funciona perfectamente, la integración con Alexa es impecable y, lo mejor de todo, es que funciona por Wi-Fi, a diferencia de muchos otros modelos que requieren hubs o cables. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo.
