Works great. Best wine I have ever made.

Not impressed after first use. Filtered twice, once with coarse filter, the second with polishing. The filters seem to be little more than hard cardboard, no filtering happened. My mead is still cloudy. The instructions that came with the product are also horrible. Going to return this

The pros - works very quickly Easy set up Worked great for removing fruit pulp and large debris using #1 and #2 filters The cons - Even using the #3 "sterile filter" large amounts of sediment still made it into the new carboy Badly airated the brew while filtering ( started pumping lots of air bubbles into batch once source container ran empty but filter jars were still full of mead needing pumped to destination. After filtering was complete still needed Turkey baster to transfer mead trapped in filter jars to destination carboy Overall I'm not unhappy with the product, I'm just not fully satisfied. Based on my use so far it seems best used for transferring from primary to secondary fermenters but usefulness seems to drop off dramatically when trying to actually clarify mead even with the finest filter media available. See the attached photo for all of the sediment the #3 filter still left in the mead.

I don’t understand companies always making mistake putting less sending less why nobody makes mistake. Put something extra. Where’s the rest off the pieces ? Where is the holes? Or tube ??? It’s missing 2 pieces!??? NSF 51 Food Safe Certified Tubbing.
