So far so good!
I only just got these today, but I know I might forget to review them so I'll give my first thoughts now while I remember and hopefully come back to update with more experience. For some context I have auditory processing issues and sensory sensitivity. My aim with these is to be able to reduce background noise enough to avoid sensory overload and to be able to focus on people talking/ listening to the TV etc more easily. I have already used Flare earbuds for a while and don't find they make any noticeable difference to what I'm able to hear, but do find that they make noises a bit less annoying if I start using them before I'm already becoming overwhelmed. I also use noise cancelling headphones (ANC) regularly but find that they can be too muddled for listening to talking etc so aren't always ideal. I also tend to find that even with noise cancelling headphones on I need to listen to music or white noise through them to have significant benefits. And wax ear plugs which are the most comfortable ear plugs I have tried but (as with most earplugs) don't discriminate with what sound they reduce and make everything sound muffled. Onto the Loop Engage earbuds... SOUND: They made a noticeable difference immediately after putting them in. The mute add ons also make a noticeable difference. Without the mutes I would say they are about half as effective. Sounds are reduced and softened/ less irritating. But I can still hear most sounds including air conditioning and the hum of a microwave. With the mutes in all noise from the Aircon unit near me was removed except for a soft fan noise. I'm barely able to hear most background noises, but am still able to comfortably listen to the TV at its normal volume. I can also hear and talk with people. With and without the mutes background noises seem less irritating and easier to ignore. Sounds do feel somewhat muddled, but nowhere near as much as with other earplugs and so far I'm not finding it gets in the way of hearing or understanding speech. FEEL/ SIDE EFFECTS: They do feel like earplugs physically. That will take some getting used to for me and they might not be something I'm able to wear constantly. But they do seem comfortable enough for a long meal out at least. As is to be expected with any ear plugs I am able to hear my own body more. Things like blinking, creaking neck, swallowing and chewing. Again it is a different type of experience, but for me it's definitely better than having really annoying background noises. They come with multiple sizes of earbuds and also two different materials (a hollow silicone type and a foam type). I appreciate that because it gives me some more options. I find the silicone more comfortable (they are also the only ones that come in xs), but it feels like the foam might do a little bit more to muffle/ reduce noise. They are easy to put in and feel secure in my ear. They are noticeable on the inside of my ear, but the ring part doesn't bother me at all. They are also easy to remove. OTHER: The inside of the lid has a QR code to a free lifetime warranty. That was quick and easy to set up. There is a manual underneath the case and earbuds that tells you how to use them and also gives some information about how much they reduce noise. They come with a carry case that feels nice and has a little loop for attaching to keyrings etc. They come with two different coloured mutes. I ordered the "dusk" colour options and have white and black mutes. They are kinda pricey I guess, but they definitely are providing me a unique experience compared to anything else I've tried so far. And the lifetime warranty goes me some confidence that they'll be a good long-term investment. After trying them out for a couple of hours at home I'm really excited to try them out and about. I feel like they could make a big difference to my experience at restaurants, the cinema, on public transport and on hot days where I don't really want to be wearing bulky noise cancelling headphones. I've been considering them for a while and putting it off, especially since my experience with flares wasn't exactly a game changer. I'm glad I did finally decide to try them. I don't expect them to be some miracle fix for my sensory issues and I don't think I'll be able to wear them all the time. But so far it does seem like they will at least make a significant difference and give me an extra tool to help with various situations.

Excellent earplugs, discreet and comfy
Love these earplugs. They fit securely and snugly. They remove the background noise but I can still have conversations in person and on the phone with them in. It is amazing how good they are! My only disappointment is that I need the xs earbud and there was only one set of those, whereas all the other sizes had 2 sets of earbuds. They are comfy in my ears and I don’t know I am wearing them after a while. Can wear them all day which is perfect. Good for a busy office and crowded shopping centre! I wanted these as they had the extra loop to go in the centre to block out more noise when needed. Excellent design and works brilliantly. So small and a lovely little storage case too, it is on my keyring so I always have them with me. Good value for money. Hopefully they will last a long time!

Comfy ear plugs
I struggle with multiple noise sources so thought I would give these a go. Like ordinary ear pieces they do muffle my own voice and I can't wear them while eating as they magnify the noise( one of my triggers) but they do reduce the noise around me. I can hear the TV more clearly as they reduce any other noise. I do need to try them at work though. The multiple ear bits do allow a good fit.

Life savers
With someone who suffers with Hyperacusis I've lived the last year with ANC headphones and an MP3 player with no volume just to keep them from turning off. I bought these in desperation as it was isolating me from people, I felt alone, even with family around. I had to manage two devices and their batteries. I was clutching them when out and about, waiting for the next phone zombie to be on a loud speaker call or playing videos from their tiny harsh phone speakers. I dreaded the next day and the digital age was always on my mind to the point where I would be crying to sleep. I feel these help to soften noises that I seem to struggle with. Cutlery noise, plates clashing together, phones on loud speaker/videos, cupboard doors slamming, too many people talking at once and supermarket checkouts are all softened and a lot more manageable than before. the freedom I feel that I'm not bound by batteries and not worrying if I had enough charge in them. I just pop them in before I enter a store or bar that I know will be hectic and I remain calm and am still able to communicate with the missus. A lot more versatile than before. It can be a learning curve to find the ideal fit, supplied are XS, small, medium and large earpieces and with overuse, your ears can become sore but I find this to be more tolerable than my condition and a couple of pain killers. Be prepared to hear your own body though (occlusion) I can hear my tinnitus, my jaw cracking as I eat and the vibrations from my feet as I walk. All these are minor side effects in my opinion in exchange from the ever growing noise of the society and it's digital age. One of the big differences I've noticed are with myself, I'm no longer stressed, fatigued and my dislike of household noises have declined after a trip to the supermarket. I had some dark thoughts before using this product and I'm happy to say they have nearly all have gone. I no longer dread the next day and it's not the last thing I think about when I sleep. I bought the dusk colour as I felt I needed a darker colour to no longer isolate myself, I have a debilitating ear condition and I don't want to hide it. I've had people who seem more understanding and people who smile at me. I'm no longer seen as an ignorant person who seems to be listening to music whilst at the checkout. I love their design and seem to be well made too. The only thing I need to worry about is infection but cleaning them regularly should solve this.

Good price for good product, with patience.
Ok, I have had these for eleven days, first plus is, I have only had to charge the case once, but will be doing so either today or tomorrow. For me, that is a huge plus, because I have a pair of NHS issued hearing aids, which work by battery, they worked, but, once you put the battery in, it will only last ten hours,, whether they are turned on or not, so basically put a new one in ever day, and for me that was a disgusting, because you cannot even buy that size battery off the shelves, so waste of money. I had them a kid and they lasted a hell of a lot longer than that. It made me wonder if some one got monopoly out that one as the only supplier of that size battery while in government! so I wont have to keep phoning up to order more so often and save the NHS a few quid, I will still need them for important phone calls, they are connect to my phone, unfortunately these cannot be. But for mormal daily use I am very happy with them, and won't have to faff about getting the batterie's out and putting them in if some comes and the battery is dead! I can pug these in when I go bed and they will be ready by morning., and the case for them is small enough, so when you don't need them you can put them back in it and keep it in your pocket, simple as that, These are brilliant, but... be patient when you get them, they can take a little getting used to, and they do tend to squeal and whistle until you know how to put them in and set the volume to your needs easily. But once you get there, you will not regret the purchase or the price, they do work. A couple of other pluses I had found myself, background noise is not a loud with these in as it was with the others, and the RAF being a pain above us when the sun comes out isn't as loud as it is with the other ones in either, sadly you will still hear them. best plus is my partner loves them, because she says I do not speak so loudly with them in either. The good news is, I get to hear er blow a raspberry when I walk away after moaning about the damn cat crapped on the carpet again. ;D But, she is happy because I don't keep saying hey or what all the time too. Be patient with them, they do feel slightly different, and they are not over the ear, but they do work and they are good, but they do take a little getting used to, because they are tap controlled for on/off and volume adjustment, no switches. But I am sure you will benefit from them as I am, its take me a little while to adjust, so be careful when you scratch your ears, that might make them fall out. Funny one for you, I did just that, and damn cat got it and knock across the kitchen floor and it went under the cooker!!! little.... Thankfully the silicone is easy to clean and dry, and I would suggest you clean them daily too.

Great purchase
absolutely love the Loop Engage 2 Plus Ear Plugs! These are by far the most comfortable earplugs I’ve ever used. The fit is perfect (they come with different sized tips, which is super helpful), and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The noise reduction is spot on—great for concerts or when I just want some peace and quiet at home, but they still let me hear important sounds like voices. Plus, they look really cool and stylish with the unique loop design. They’re durable, come with a handy case, and the sound quality is fantastic for a noise-reducing earplug. Highly recommend these if you're looking for something effective and comfortable!

Ok but expensive for what they are.
These earplugs ok, I have been struggling with tinnitus and finding loud noises a bit much. I looked at several different brands and settled on the loop brand as they seemed to have some good reviews and several options to choose from. They are comfortable and have several different tips to fit in the ears. I have found they fit very well and the option to be able to block out most of the noise or let in a certain amount is good. The little rubber insert for blocking out noise can be a little fiddly to get back out. There is an option to have rubber or foam ear pieces but they seem pretty cheap and don’t look like they will last very long. The earplug storage pot could have been a little bit bigger in my opinion and have something to put the little rubber blanks in so they don’t fall out the pot when you don’t need them. They are quite expensive for what they are and not sure for the price how long they will last.

Amazing. Life changer
Fantastic!! Mute feature is a must have and brings something else to this product. They are very comfortable to wear in. I have had no pain from wearing them and for long periods of times. The little case that comes with them is a fantastic idea. Keeps them safe when they aint in my ears. They came with a generous amount of tips for diffrent sizes but I find the xs work they best for me. They fit snug. It takes a little bit of time getting used to hearing your own voice more clearly. When im wearing them I feel more at ease , they help for sensory overload massively. With the loops in, I can still hear folks talking to me and I can sit and watch tv and hear it fine. They remove the low roar of the background which is exactly what I needed. Can highly recommend the loop engage two for discretion inside the ear too, since they are clear.

Lifesavers!
I can not describe how lifechanging these earplugs are and have been for me. I get overstimulated by sounds very easily, especially in social contexts. With these my daily day changed radically due to them almost completely reducing backgroundnoise at the same time as you can hear quite clearly. Other plugs block out sounds but then you hear your own heartbeat or footsteps superclear which is almost worse than without. These have enabled me to focus and participate in things I hesitated about before. It comes with a set of different sizes in earplugs so you don't have to worry in advance about it fitting your ear and the superplus is that it also comes with a small piece you put inside if you want to completely block out sounds. It's almost like the super noise reducing headphones you can but from Apple. You can have these in all day without anyone notice it and also sleep comfortably on the side, the design is made in a way where it's nothing sticking out. I can not recommend these enough. Lifesaver is how I best would describe them.

5*
What they don't tell you: Wear supportive shoes unless you want to hear each of your own footsteps like you're walking on a drum Getting used to the volume of your own voice being significantly disproportionate to everything else takes time. The dampener rings seal so well that you feel a pressure change when you use them. I'm honestly impressed by how it feels calmer being in malls or big noisy spaces.

For me, life-changing comfort and sound muting.
I have sensitive hearing, and in the past I've used earplugs that I found uncomfortable and that didn't fit me at all. I'd given up on finding something that worked for me, when a friend told me about Loop. I did a LOT of research online, these earplugs are not cheap throw-aways. Eventually I took the plunge. I was happy to see that there were different sizes (I have small ear passages), and I specifically chose the type of Loop that is designed for different sound levels. The earplugs arrived promptly, very well (and attractively) packaged. I carefully put one in, a twist to get it settled and I was very happy how well it fit. With both in I was astonished how much the sound around me was muted. I tried them with the insert on and it worked as promised, muting the sound even more. I like that the earplug sits pretty flush to the ear, I've napped with them on and had no issues with comfort even though I sleep on my side. Removing the earplug is very easy, just another slight twist and a pull. I like the little case that comes with them, it holds the earplugs securely and so far hasn't opened accidentally. I wouldn't feel comfortable attaching the case to my keyring or exterior of any handbag, though. That could just be me. I've used the earplugs at the theatre, babysitting my friend's toddler who is cute but loud, in the grocery store, in planes, at coffee shops. I'm really happy that I can select how much volume I want muted, from almost complete silence to dulling loud noises. They're comfortable enough to wear for long stretches of time and easy to remove in a second if I need to talk to someone. Some people complained that the earplugs made their breathing very noticable. It's true, and the sudden shock lack of external noise seems to highlight it. I was super motivated to push through it because I really suffer without earplugs, but I also thought the breathing noises were natural and easy to ignore. A few hours in I didn't notice them at all and on subsequent days I felt it was negligible. I'd also like to mention that the earplugs are pretty discreet. I have clear ones, and even with the black mute ring attached they are unnoticeable. There are plenty of vibrant colors if you want to accessorize with the earplugs, and their interesting design make them look fun. I wish I'd had these earplugs years ago. They reduced my stress levels a lot.
