highly effective for a large bedroom. top quality from a trusted brand
I love the brand. We have air purifiers and another fan from this brand. They are top notch. This fan is awesome the amount of air/ speed is felt throughout the bedroom. I love it. It has two ways to use it on a table top or on floor. It is very sharp looking too. Does not look cheap or act cheap. As far as noise level, on first and second speed you cannot hear a peep. We have it on 5 and while you can hear it, the level of noise it puts out is almost soothing does not disturb me in my sleep or is too loud to run on high. We run on high every day and it is worth every penny I spent. Comes a tiny round remote. extremely functional, stable, does not sway around and very easy to use.

Excellent fan with carefully thought out features
Im very happy with this fan. SO QUIET. So light. Moves a ton of air for such a small footprint and I love the remote. One design feature that i looked for is the fans tilt mechanics. I have had 2 fans fail with the kind that that "click" down and up vs on a spindle. This is key. No more forcing the fan into its required tilt and hoping it doesn't snap and break! Worth the money.

Great quiet fan with a lot of power
I got this for my kids dorm and used it on move in day and WOW did it make a huge difference! It pushes air so nicely and very very quietly! Just level one is good but the higher obviously more powerful and still yet soooo quiet! Good thing we got it because apparently the air wasn’t working and stayed 78 degrees all thru the weekend! Super easy to put together and super easy to use! No tools required! I would definitely recommend and it’s just as advertised sleek and nice looking!

Surprisingly useful remote + great airflow (but not ideal for white noise)
I bought this Levoit standing fan about a year ago and still use it regularly. The biggest surprise was the remote. I didn’t think I’d care about it, but it’s genuinely useful—especially at night or when I don’t want to get up to adjust settings. I use this fan a lot for hot flashes, and being able to quickly change the speed or turn it on/off without moving is a big plus. Airflow is strong for the size, and the oscillation helps circulate air across the whole room instead of just one spot. It does a good job cooling things down without needing to crank it to max. One downside: if you’re looking for white noise, this probably isn’t the best option at lower speeds. It’s fairly quiet, but not in that consistent “fan noise” way some people want for sleeping. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would buy it again—just depends on whether you want airflow or sound.

Fan has a silent gentle mode, and very powerful.
This is an update to my original review after receiving my second fan. The fan is still 5-stars for now, but here are a few things to consider. It has 9 speeds, but there is a large gap between speeds 3 and 4. Speeds 1, 2, 3 are very slow and gentle and nearly identical with very low wattage used. Very efficient. The problem is that speed-4 jumps up to more than double the power of speed-3. This fan's power range skips over the power level of my old fan. The air flow is either below or way above my old 3-speed fan. For winter it's great, but I'm not sure about summer yet when I use a fan every day. With 9 speeds, I was sure that one of them would be similar to my old 3-speed fan which worked for 15-years, so this is a flaw in the new fan. Note: With speeds 1, 2, or 3, you could set the fan right near you and point it right at you and it will be a gentle breeze. But to get a gentle breeze with level-4, you would have to set the fan across the room maybe 20-feet away. Then, levels 4 through 9 increment gracefully for good control of air flow. Conclusion: There is a gap in the air flow selection. The other thing is that the remote control is not paired with the fan it came with, but to any Levoit fan apparently. If I have my 2 fans in the same room, and I turn one on, they both come on. I consider this a flaw. I will contact Levoit to see if there's a way to pair the remote with a particular fan. Original review: I am beyond impressed with this fan. It goes together in a few minutes without instructions. I shopped for a long time comparing and conversing with Rufus, and this fan is great. Within 10-minutes of receiving it, I ordered a second one. I'm giving my old fans to Goodwill. Level-1 is slow and silent, and that is what I wanted the most in a fan. Just a gentle breeze. Level-9 is very powerful and will blow your hair and other things in your house. If the web page tells you that the fan cannot be shipped to your address, try proceeding to checkout. It worked for me and I had it the next day. Here are the features that impress me the most... - The color is a beautiful white. - It's footprint is smaller than my old fans. - When I first turned it on, it started at the lowest power. Then if I turn it off and back on, it remembers the last setting. - According to my Kill-a-watt meter, it uses about 1-watt when idle. Here are my readings for Level - Watts, Amps 1 - 3, 0.07 2 - 3, 0.07 3 - 4, 0.07 4 - 9, 0.14 5 - 10, 0.15 6 - 12, 0.18 7 - 13, 0.19 8 - 15, 0.21 9 - 18, 0.25 Add 1-Watt for oscillation. Add 1-Watt for the display on. For comparison, your AC fan probably uses 35-watts at lowest power. - Any beeping sound when pressing buttons is barely audible, but you can mute it and then there is no beeping, and no lights on the display. - You can point it straight up, to stir up the air in the room. Maybe bring some warmer air down from the ceiling in the winter. - You can pulse the oscillation, then stop it when it's pointing exactly where you want it, like right at you. - The remote is small and round, but it's very easy to hold and press buttons with one hand. If you press the remote buttons while it's sitting on a table, it will not wobble. It's solid. Note: The one flaw in the fan is that the power levels 1, 2, and 3 are nearly identical. Then level-4 is double the power or more of level 3. See my chart above. Levels 1, 2, 3 are silent, then level-4 has a windy sound. In the summer, level-4 might work for me. I will let you know. The fan has many more functions. Good value. Hope this helped.

Nice fan
Very nice fan. One thing I did not like was the bottom plate being in two pieces. It just didn’t line up properly. It still sits flat and the fan doesn’t wobble, but it’s not a solid connection. It would be much better if it was one solid piece. The fan is extremely quiet. No noise at all. I am using this in the living room. I like fan noise in the bedroom so keep the quiet in mind if you like fan noise. The other problem (for me) is it’s so quiet I forget to turn it off! I have started using the timer so it will shut off by itself. Which is great if I remember to set the timer! Other than that it’s a really nice fan and despite it’s small size it circulates a lot of air!

CFM's lower than stated, quiet, but not the best.
I really wanted to like this fan. First, the 1,024 CFM rating is NOT even close to accurate air flow for this fan. I own a V****do DC pedestal fan & it is rated at almost the same number. It has a larger head size and produces far more air flow than this fan does, so as my guess here this can't be more than 600 CFM in reality. My wife checked it out & agrees with me. The 5 speed settings are horrible. The first 2 are 1 watt draw, 2+ watt draw on wattage but also totally useless. Yes, it's quiet, but if your really wanting good air flow for the money this fan is NOT it. A 2 year warranty isn't bad though for the price at least. On highest #5 setting it only draws a little over 16 watts, so it is truly an energy saver, but lacks for enough air flow severely. Buy the "V" DC fan w/5 year warranty instead & you will be far more happy. This does have a remote, but small & round & not that comfortable to hold, I would prefer a more normal made remote. Base is weighted & pretty well balanced, but size of base is too small for my liking so the 5 leg I have is far better supported. What really burns my duff is the wrongful stating of the air flow as it is NOT as stated. Yes, my "V" fan pulls 32 watts wide open, has a much larger head size, but the air flow is far superior to this dud, & has a fully variable control to better get the flow to where you want it. The oscillation is nice though which my other doesn't have, but I never use that personally, so it's not an issue for me. The fan does have a timer, but something else I would never use. At least they are stating the power draw higher than what this fan actually uses. I am being generous to give it 3 stars, but only because of it's features, remote/quietness/oscillation NOT for the fans actual job of air flow. If your trying to squeeze some savings on your energy usage it is a good item, but not that good of a real fan to provide the most desired air flow. Attached here are real wattage numbers for the top 2 settings #4 & #5 which in reality are the only 2 that are usable. The first 3 are just so low not to be beneficial. Height is very short, but so is my other pedestal fan. This doesn't have any downward angle either, but is common I guess as the other I own has none either. There isn't a built in handle to carry from the top, you have to grab the neck below the head unit to carry it. In all honesty this fan is ok if you don't care about having great air flow for the low power it uses, but for me it is a certain NO to buy any more of their brands fans just knowing the falsehood of the statement of CFM's. If the CFM's were correct it would draw more power than it does, even with the DC motor. Honestly I should put it back in the box & return it with the low air flow, but it's not Amazon's fault, it is the company making false claims. It works, it is usable for a spare so I will tolerate it for it's low usage, but I do not recommend it for purchase. I would never have bought this unit knowing what I know now after purchasing it. BUYER BEWARE!

Whisper quiet night mode is AMAZING.
This fan exceeded my expectations. The assembly required no tools and like 3 minutes to complete. The whisper quiet bedtime mode is amazing. The smoothness of the sound and the rotation of the fan is spectacular. The little tiny circular remote is cute, but I’m so fearful. I’m going to lose it. I have to figure out a way to Velcro it into something. The other thing I wish it had was like wheels because the base is intentionally heavy. I can’t really move it easily to room to room as it has sturdy/ weight to it for stability — to preventing tipping. I guess it just means I need to buy more of them, but that’s fine because they are definitely amazing for the price.

Not suitable for use in the UK
Do not buy from Amazon.co.uk. This item is listed in the UK but ships from the US with a US plug that has incompatable voltage and pins. A travel adaptor would not be suitable due to much higher voltage in the UK. No idea why they are selling it on Amazon.co.uk.

No UK plug
My fan - although ordered on uk amazon site didn’t come with a uk plug - they need to make this clear as buying a plug that fits is expensive - otherwise a lovely product, fits together well and looks great but now need to buy an expensive plug.
