Very hard to program

After a slow start the display is working fine. Would be better with smaller pixels.

**Review updated May 2025** Had stored this under the bed due to frustration of not getting it to work. Discovered it again and put it in the hands of a certified entertainment electrician. Took him about 10 minutes and a few discoveries and now my sign is working!!! Here are the steps we followed: Install the FkShow app onto phone Make sure LED sign is plugged in to power outlet. On phone, go to Network and Internet, then at top is WiFi settings (tap for list of networks) and wait for the sign to appear. Choose the LED Sign WiFi name and enter password – Eight number 8 in a row (Change the password on your sign once you connect!) Then go to FkShow app and give it a minute to connect to the sign. Bottom of screen has three buttons SelectWiFi - Read Back – Send Read Back will get settings from the sign - select Display 1 96x16 (this might be specific to our unit) Select any of the programs to make active or edit. Always hit “Send” when updating the programs to make them active. Playing in the app now is 100% different from the first time and now it is fun to create messages and look through the options for letters, borders, pictures, etc. Message can be static or dynamic (still or scrolling) and this thing is BRIGHT!! The ribbon cable is used to connect two signs together. We had this sign completely apart looking at its insides. The FK number is on the chip. Still no power switch or port for plugging in a cable as mentioned in original review but now we understand that sign works exclusively on WiFi. Not bluetooth, not via a cable. WiFi between sign and phone. Updating to five stars. This thing is awesome but still a bit confusing to navigate through the app. **Original frustrated review follows-** The unit I received is NOT as pictured in vendor ad. My unit does NOT have a power switch, it does not have a port as shown in ad images. Software was near impossible to download to PC and once it was on the phone, it was dead end after dead end. Trying to get this to do **anything** but it is doing nothing. All I have is "connected without internet". iphone in the house is finding the FK but the Android in house is not. This will not work on the iphone and the menus showing on Android are not connecting to the sign. We are beyond frustrated trying to follow the directions and poking around in the poor app. It is constantly saying "No device selected, or device is not online" so even when we get something going in the app, it will not connect or send to sign. NOT easy to program and NOT simple to install software.

I ordered this ‘YS Outdoor P10 Programmable Led Sign’ to use in my front window next holiday season. I liked the fact that I could customize the messages. This ‘YS Outdoor P10 Programmable Led Sign’ looks very good on…at least with the preprogrammed message…I can’t get it to respond to change the program. It just scrolls the same couple of messages no matter what I do. I downloaded the FKShow app as required. The app, itself, is very confusing and hard to use. But I did figure it out. But the sign will not accept the messages I try to download. I just keep getting an error message about not being able to connect, and the message never changes. I was excited to get this ‘YS Outdoor P10 Programmable Led Sign’ and was hoping to give it a good review. But I can’t, because it doesn’t work as it should. The colors are bright and vivid…the message is big and bold…but it just won’t program. Totally disappointed.

I’m really impressed with this LED sign — the build quality feels solid, it’s very bright, and the resolution is crisp even from a distance. The setup process was straightforward, and the included software is easy to navigate and program messages or animations with. The seller’s communication was also excellent — they replied quickly, helped clarify a few setup questions, and made sure I had everything working properly. It’s refreshing to see that kind of follow-through. Overall, this is a professional-quality display that performs exactly as advertised. I've used a couple of these types of signs and they were tricky to pair and program but this one a little harder than previous models I've had. Programming is about the same, It's not hard once you're paired and you can type the message in the colors you want. I like this one as it's actually 3 P10 panels so it's a giant 40" long. No power or USB port on mine but the BT worked once paired so it's not absolutely required but would have been nice if it had been as shown. Overall it's not terrible once you get through the pairing process and you have a really large LED sign for a decent price.
