I’ve tried a few different slime activators with my children, and Elmer’s Magical Liquid has been one of the easiest and least stressful to use so far. The biggest advantage is how simple it makes the whole process. You just add it to PVA glue and mix—no need to measure out contact lens solution or bicarbonate of soda, which can be messy and a bit hit-and-miss. It takes the guesswork out completely, and we were able to get a good slime consistency within minutes. The texture of the finished slime is smooth and stretchy without being overly sticky, which is exactly what you want—especially when little hands are involved. It’s also more forgiving than DIY mixtures; if you add a bit too much or too little, it still tends to come together nicely with a bit of kneading. I also appreciate that it’s washable and designed to be kid-friendly. Clean-up was relatively easy, and I felt more comfortable using this compared to homemade alternatives with multiple ingredients. The 259ml bottle made several batches as expected, so it feels reasonably good value, particularly if you have children who enjoy making slime regularly. If I had one small criticism, it would be that you still need to get the glue ratio roughly right for best results, so very young children may still need a bit of supervision. But that’s true of most slime kits. Overall, this is a convenient, reliable slime activator that makes the activity quicker, cleaner, and more consistent. A great option for keeping kids entertained without the usual trial-and-error mess.

It’s actually quite good for slime making definitely recommend adding pva glue tk make a super stretchy slime! It’s super fun for the younger and just add some food dye and its what ever colour you chose it to be! The durability last for a short while on depending how you take care of the slime it’s never that sticky when it’s comes to pva glue the texture with it is amazing!

The best activator I have come across, as it allows the slime to come togther nicely. I would say the price is quite high for the amount of activator, but it produces non-sticky slimes. I would note that you do need to re-activate the slime if it is left for a long period of time, but you don't need to use a lot.

We paid £13.99 for this, and I thought this was too much for what was in the kit considering how long it lasts. You get two bottles of glue and two bottles of activator, so enough to make two batches of slime. The kids did enjoy pouring and mixing the two liquids, they thought they were proper scientists doing experiments. We got them dressed up in lab coats and goggles. The amount of slime produced in each batch is small, less than a tennis ball in size. Consistency is good but keep it in a container, as when left it always tries to flatten itself out, and resembles a pancake every time it’s taken out. It’s also very sticky so keep away from paper or any dirty surface. After a couple of days it has started to harden and lost its slimy texture, so that's as long as it lasts. The colour changing part is reliant on uv light, left on a window sill in December you could see it had begun to change colour, but not much, it’s not really enough to add much to the whole experience anyway. We have bought better ready mixed slime before. Not particularly great or good value for money.

Daughter loves making slime, I always buy this activator for her to make it with. Paired with a massive tub of Amazon basics clear glue it has helped make numerous tubs of all different kinds of slime. Good value for money meaning you aren't worried when your child starts experimenting with every slime recipe under the sun! Daughter loves it.

Tochter ist begeistert! Viele selbstgemachte Slimes führten nicht zum gewünschten Ergebnis. Dieser ist fluffig und lässt sich toll ziehen - und es wird echt viel (ca. 1/2 Marmeladenglas). Hier gab es keinerlei Hautausschläge - wie in anderen Rezensionen gelesen. Das Zeug ist natürlich Schweinkram, aber für die Kids genau das Richtige. Wie lange es hält, kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber für eine zweite Portion sind noch Zutaten vorhanden.
