Q: Is it bluetooth and wi fi compatable?

This only works as a slave to whatever output you choose. This sub has no Bluetooth connectivity.

Q: Would this be suitable for HD6? or should I get S8?

I would get the S8 if I had the HD6. The S6 I have is fine for the A1's or A2's.

Q: Description says this is good for a "desktop". How will the sound be affected if it's on the floor, in the corner of my office?

I have mine on a shelf under my desk and it sounds fine. After you calibrate the S6 subwoofer to your likings, it will add a nice depth and fullness to your music and videos.
