Ozeri ZK24 Garden and Kitchen Scale, with 0.5 g (0.01 oz) Precision Weighing Technology

I bought this for a friend who is extremely precise in his cooking. He told me this scale, which is much more economical than the fancy one he had that died on him after only a few years, would let him measure more precisely and was much easier to understand and use. I bought one for myself as well. It is great!! You never want to put any food directly on your scale. This allows you to put your plate on the scale, weigh the plate, then zero the scale out so the weight of the plate is not added to the food. It gets super-precise! My son cooks alot, and he loves it.

I bought this to replace my old kitchen scale after it went to the great recycler in the sky. I waffled a bit because I wanted a scale with a little more functionality but I didn’t need to be able to utilize Alexa with it. This was (luckily) the perfect choice. Accuracy is spot on (I was so impressed with the ease of use—seemed too good to be true—so I checked it against my husband’s calibrated shop scale). I can bake like a British Bake-Off winnner…okay, false statement. But maybe I could. I’d credit my win to the scale. I could probably create my own sourdough starter that LIVED! No. No, that’s definitely a bald lie. But I could get it started accurately. Unfortunately, it needs to be fed and this scale won’t do that part. #imminentdeath But it’s truly a great scale. It’s perfect for crafting, rounds out far enough any mistakes are unquestionably my own math errors, and it’s sleek enough to tuck away in a drawer without fuss. The “Tare” function couldn’t be easier, and it doesn’t turn off so fast you lose your spot if you need to cross the tiny kitchen to retrieve more ingredient(s). I highly recommend this scale for crafting, science, cooking/baking, weighing your parrot (true story) and just about anything else.

I bought this scale for accurate measurements. Needing fractional grams, this scale fit the bill. What I really like about it, is that it comes in colors to fit your aesthetic or mood or what have you, but it is also functional and works well. The accuracy is there! I weighed several items, such as a dollar bill, knowing this should weigh exactly 1 gram and it was PRECISE! Whether I added a container beforehand to zero out or weighed it by itself, the weights were exact. The scale seems to balance itself too, if you have it in an uneven surface. And the scale colors offered are vibrant. Plus, the price can't be beat. I have nothing negative to say about this scale. Don't wait, just click "buy now" if you're on the fence! I did not actually realize this was targeted to imbibers of the Devil's lettuce until I looked closer at the box cover on arrival. The "420 Garden Scale" seemed coincidental at first, until you see the pile of bud on the scale in the picture. Well, to each their own! What I actually got the scale for was to weigh small packages for shipping sold items online, for weighing gold and silver jewelry to get an idea of the value, and for weighing my camping and hiking gear so that I can go ultralight on my next thru hike. I especially like that it goes down to 100ths of an ounce and half grams whereas my previous scale did not. An improvement like this for the price of this scale seems well worth it. I'm still not sold on the accuracy. I have weighed items on both scales and compared to published weights. This scale seems to weigh everything a bit off to the heavier side. Maybe I'm just upset because my pack out is now increasing in weight. Anyways, it's a good scale. Easy to use. Physical buttons that click, not moody touch screen buttons. Retina-burning, super-bright blue backlight (I feel like red, or at least just not so bright, would be better). Measurements are easy to read. Auto off when not in use. Wish it came with batteries. Price is great.

I never thought I'd feel compelled to write a review for a kitchen scale but here I am. I've used multiple other scales I bought from Walmart and they were all terrible and inaccurate, seriously messed up my recipes. This scale promised to measure accurately up to half a gram, and it delivered. I made a batch of bagels and they came out perfectly unlike when I used a different brand. This will be my go-to scale from now on. If it ever breaks I'm getting another one of these!

Not only do I use this to measure out the food that I shrink wrap, but I also use it to measure yarn or project weights to know how a journal need to use. It works really well.

I ordered this to replace my old Ozeri scale that I accidentally flung across the room and broke, I like and trust the Ozeri brand so I decided to go with the brand again. I purchase all my meat in bulk and separate & freeze it, this scale has been doing exactly what I need by weighing the exact amount of meat I am putting in each freezer bag. The Tare button minuses the weight of my freezer bag so I get an accurate weight of my meats without having to do the math in my head, which makes life a lot easier when I’m separating over 20lbs of meat at a time. This scale is nice and small so it doesn’t take up a lot of precious cabinet or counter space and the teal color is so pretty. I’m happy with my purchase.

The main thing I like about this scale is the price, less than $10 in black. But that aside, I tested it with calibration weights at 100, 200 and 300 grams and found it to be perfectly accurate. The display is readable and the backlight is effective for reading in low light conditions. My only very minor gripe is that the scale uses the same button for both Tare and On/Off functions, and sometimes I accidentally turn the scale off when all I want to do is Tare what's on it. But this is an extremely minor annoyance since you just push the button again if it happens and the scale turns back on zeroed-out (0.00) which is the same as Tare anyway. I already had an accurate Polder kitchen scale with no backlight and bought this one because I needed a backlight, and the display and backlight on this model fulfills all my expectations on that account. The buttons have a good tactile feel and the scale cleans up easily after use.

I was a bit skeptical when I opened the box, because the scale felt like a kid toy - plastic. However, it was worth it. The color matches well my others kitcheen tools. It has a convenient and cute size : when I cook, I won't have to make much room for it. I later bought the batteries, and it worked fine. The screen gets blue when on. The calibration of the 0 is functional. Just, don't move the scale or put it on unstable platform when on; otherwise, the device gets confused and gives nonsensical numbers. Also, that's some impressive competitive price here!
