How do you know the size to get? I have a 3 1/4 inch palm. I'm 5'4"

I ordered (and am happy with) medium. I’m 5’9” and my hand is 4” across including thumb.

Will these give my injured thumb a break or make it work harder?

What size would an 8 inch hand use?

The correct size is determined by the vertical length and the circumference (excluding your thumb) of your hand. A medium paddle is suggested for a 7.25” vertical length and 8” - 9” circumference. A large paddle is suggested for a 8” vertical length and 9” or more circumference. Hope that helps!

Luv these paddles, v handy for my stroke training. 2 weeks prior i bought the speedo paddles but hated it as the straps made it difficult for me to stop and start my watch. this one is so much more practical and straightforward
