Good quality
Perfect fit for a 3โ pvc pipe, I used it for ventilating a crawl space

used these inside my sailboat's cowl vents as an insect screen
Used two of these inside my boat's cowl vents. They have worked great to keep you the mud dauber wasps that love to nest in my boat. fit perfectly inside my 23.5" cowl vents. Yeah not the originally desinged application, but it works great as installed.

Keeps the critters out
Lightweight but strong, used in a camper van conversion when installing a vent through the floor. These were the perfect answer to keep out bugs and any mice that may be attracted to the hole. Fit into the 3" hole was good, but in my application, required the addition of sealant to keep it in place. Rating would have been 5 stars, but the shipping container (white plastic envelope) allowed two of the screens to be damaged. Perhaps even a lightweight cardboard box would have prevented this.

3" round screen vent
With a three inch hole saw drilling the hole, these vents pushed right in and stay in. Like the look, the quality and ease of install. The wasps, bugs, mice not so happy.

Fits perfectly for the efficiency furnace exterior pipes.
We had problems of those pesky yellow jacketed hornets coming into the outside pipe and trying to make their nest here. We talked to our installer, and he suggested we get these. Tried at a local store, none available. Amazon vendor had them. Fits perfectly, no more problem with these pests. Air flow is not blocked. Great permanent fix to a problem that could lead to these pesky yellow jacketed hornets to enter the our heating system and eventually our home itself.

Excellent appearance and feels like good quality
Turns out I won't use them on this project because the 3" PVC has a cover which reduced its ID, so I'll probably just buy some 1/16" screen and cut it down to size and secure it with caulk. I.e., the pipe is hidden under a flap and it's 20' above the ground, so it will be functional with no concern over aesthetics. But these were a great price and I'll be using them in the future.

Wanted to Love These - But There are Potential Problems
First of all, I have nothing bad to say about these screens regarding their quality, the seller, the shipping - NOTHING. 5 Star experience. The problem is with the mesh size: it is too fine for a furnace intake. On a near freezing morning recently, I noticed there was a lot of condensate on the screen plugged into the PVC intake line of my furnace. This time of year (October), it's not really cold yet like it will be in 2 months, and if that mesh screen were to ice over, it could spell problems for the furnace. Given the mesh size, there's a real danger that these could ice up. My HVAC company, during my annual furnace service, told me take them out and use something with a wider mesh pattern. The HVAC tech said that the fine mesh itself is going to mess with the intake air flow and could cause the furnace to start tripping off on fault. The furnace monitors the airflow and if it senses restriction, it will shut off with a fault in order to protect the unit. So buyer beware, these are great screens and if you're just using them on the exhaust line on a power vent water heater, you're golden. But on an intake, not a good idea.
