This tablet stand reminds me of a microphone stand. It's not as sturdy as a traditional mic stand, but it's also pretty perfect for its intended use—holding a tablet in the air. The round base is heavy enough that when I use my iPad Air, the stand never feels unstable. I swing my iPad around without any worries that the stand will topple. The swivel feature is nice because I can quickly share what's on my screen with my wife without having to get up. The height is perfect for keeping beside the bed, and has allowed me to work and enjoy watching TV shows on days when I've been too sick to get out of bed. Assembly was a breeze and the tablet mount functions so well and is so grippy that I have no hesitation turning my tablet in either portrait or landscape orientation—I have zero fear that it will fall out. Honestly, the way I pack this thing around the house, I should probably have multiples. It's been nice to take my iPad places I normally wouldn't work, like the living room recliner, and have my iPad set up so I can work without worrying about knocking it over when I get up. It's also nice for the patio, and to have set up next to my computer for use as an extended display. My wife has wanted me to get a tablet stand for years, and I always thought they were silly. But I've already gotten more than my money's worth out of it. I'm very happy I bought it.

I am not one that normally writes reviews, but this product is so impressive that I had to let other people know. I am somebody that has neck and shoulder issues as well as some nerve issues and so I really don’t like holding my phone and looking down all the time. I use these type of products daily and I’ve had several versions of them. They’ve all broken and they’re all crappy quality and Amazon makes it pretty difficult to get a refund unless you want to waste your time, gas and money returning broken junk so Amazon can be more profitable in which it doesn’t benefit you at all. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, back to the review. My point is I highly doubt you’ll return this one. This product is properly engineered, really solid design, bottom heavy as it should be so it doesn’t tip over and it’s also attractive if you’re somebody that cares about aesthetics, the other ones I had looked cheap and they consistently tipped over, which was frustrating and sometimes dangerous. If you’re in the market for this, do not get the rectangular design. Definitely get the round design with the weighted disc at the bottom like this one. This one even has a nice rose gold accent on it against the black. I highly recommend. Well done to whoever manufactured this.

I've had this device stand for about a week now, and I haven't even one complaint. I spend quite a lot of time on my back looking up at my iPad, and the stand is perfect for my needs. With the heavier base, the stand stays upright, and it does not tip or rock when I use my devices. It grips my mobile phone and my iPad securely. The stand was a cinch to assemble and pose, and it only took about 10 minutes. I advise being gentle with the knobs that tighten to hold the stand's arms in position. Turn them tightly enough to hold firmly, but no tighter. You may have to tighten a knob once in a while, but they're made of plastic, and they may become stripped from overtightening. I will be recommending this Awlbstruse Tablet Floor Stand to others.

Price is very reasonable - a great value. . Assembly was easy. One part of the assembly to note is adding the phone holder to the stand. On the stand assembly there is a metal ball. Force it into the phone holder. Keep the plastic net away from phone holder until the ball is locked in place. Then use the plastic nut to mount on the tread. The assembly is very stable and easily accommidates my Samsung 24. It is potable so my wife uses it with her iPhone 10. The stand is well made and very durable. The reason for my purchase was to eliminate severe pains in my neck causes by holding my cell phone too many hours. Now the pain is almost negligible.

This went together quite easily and I really loved it. It was so easy to use and exactly what I wanted. But after about a week or so it started to seem wobbly and I took it apart myself and tried to fix it. Which seemed OK for another week but then it got wobbly again so I took it apart and realized there were no threads in the tube connecting to the base. It's like the threads were imprinted there but weren't deep enough to hold on to the base threads. I have asked for a replacement and we shall see if it was a defective part

Great, round, heavy base is a plus. No issues with the adjustable arm which firmly grasps both 11" tablets and smaller smartphones. The issue I had was with the collar atop the stand pole where the arm pivot inserts into it. This joint is wobbly and poorly threaded, so the arm rocks back and forth in an unstable manner after being seated in the pole. I had to add super glue to this part to keep it from moving around on top of the stand pole. Good stand with a shoddy part. Quality control is obviously lacking. Buyer beware.
