Generic Arcs: The Blighted Reach Expansion

Game of the year candidate.

It arrived in perfect condition despite me living overseas.

The most ingenious expansion I’ve ever played, for easily one of the best board games I’ve gotten my hands on. The expansion is heavy, and took my group a full play through before we were fully able to understand some of the more complex mechanics, but only because the rules are vast and complex, not because they are badly written or clunky in their design. Once you get the hang of things, the blighted reach expansion has a near endless supply of extremely unique and enjoyable interactions that you couldn’t even begin to scratch the surface of in the first play through. I’ve only played it two full times since I got it in December, but I’ve been itching to play it again every time I sit down and play a game with my friends. The expansion is certainly expensive, but because of the abundance of content, and high quality box and components, I think it’s well worth the price.

Such a fantastic expansion!!! The base game is also great!!! Fully recommended.
