Venom PlayStation Portal Charging Dock (PS5)

One thing i hate about my portal is that it does. Ot hold a charge over a few days, not sure if other people suffer with this issue. So i have purchased this base to keep it charged constantly after use. Product is nice and gets the job done. It looks neat and tidy and has a blue or red display ( not charging/ charging) very simple very minimalistic, only things i would change is that it should work with a case on, which it doesn’t and personally i wished it was higher, sort of on a pedestal but for display purposes most people will like it as it is. Over a quality product, well built and fits in with the theme of the PS5.

Really pleased with this. It charges the PS Portal quickly enough and is a nice simple looking bit of kit. I leave the Portal sat in there all the time and have a smart plug controlling it so I can just switch on when I need it The indicator light tells you when it’s charging and when it’s fully charged, which is helpful. Brilliant value for money

This is a great stand and charger for the PS Portal. It comes with a tiny dongle that slots into the PS Portal to provide wireless charging while docked. The existing PS Portal USB cable or the one with this dock can be used to plug into the back of the unit to provide power. The stand is sturdy and looks nice next to the PS5 due to matching look.

Found it could be a little tricky to line the wireless dongle sometimes, however better than scratch the base of a portal trying to get a cable in.

I highly recommend buying this if you’re an avid PS Portal user who likes to unwind playing PS5 games remotely after a long days work or you just like to keep it displayed where it can be charged and ready the next time you pick it up. The charging dock is a great design and not cheap looking and I just love how I can pick it up from my bedside table and play games straight away knowing it is fully charged and ready to go. The braided USB-C cable is also a nice added touch for sturdy and reliable charging. If you use your Portal on a regular basis and want a place to put it on display near you and charge when not in use then this is for you!

This is an awesome item and recommended for anyone with a portal. Please be aware the small blue light is so bright it can light up an entire room. I had to cover it up on mine as it is on my bedside table

Great value. Great looking and does the job nicely.

Cheap feel to it. Doesn’t connect directly to the portal it uses a small dongle you put in the portal that sits on the base, so if your out and need to charge it it’s quite fiddly to take out the back of the portal . Not great, actually quite inconvenient , but it is what it is. No I don’t recommend it

La qualité semble très bonne. La portal se pose très facilement dessus et la charge fonctionne impeccable. Attention, fournie sans le chargeur (uniquement un câble usb c) Seul bémol pour moi, le dock est sur mon meuble tv donc face à moi et la led bleue (une fois que la charge est terminée) est trop forte et je ne crois pas que ça puisse être désactivé

It’s a good charger BUT you can’t have any case what so ever on it. They made it with almost NO tolerance for anything but the actual portal. Great for sturdiness. Absolutely terrible for everything else. Almost everyone is going to want to put a case or some type of case around this thing and to limit yourself to one customer base (the ones that don’t use cases or protection) is such a poor business idea. Make it larger to handle cases, and then just add spacers for people who don’t want to put cases or protection on their portal. It’s not that hard to be a good business that thinks of these things.
