Premium Multi-Utility Tools 10-in-1 Folding Prep Tool

Watched a YouTube video that said "You absolutely NEED this painter's tool!" then cane onto Amazon and decided to buy this one. It was an excellent purchase, and I don't even use it much. But everytime I've run into a problem where my other tools can't do the job, this one can. It's sturdy, it folds closed to be compact, the end has a steel cap so you could hit it with a hammer if you really need to wedge it in somewhere, or even use it to tamp down an errant nail. It'll open bottles, scrape between your deck boards, scrape paint of course, remove old adhesive from your walls, and anything else you can think to use a solid, well shaped piece of metal. If I'm doing any kind of work in or outside my home, this is clipped onto my belt. It's such a good tool and I can't recommend it enough, regardless of whether you're a painter or not. If you do home maintenance, you should own this.

I've been a professional painter for 15 years. Tried every 5 in 1 in the book. This has been my favorite. Normally not a fan of purdy but this is their best product beside Colossus sleeves. Fits in your pocket. Light weigh. Metal bottom for tons of uses. And I never lose them. People can't steal it and claim it is theirs the next day, because I stuck a sticker inside. Not for extremely heavy duty scraping, but it definitely is high quality . Even though it's sharp as a razor it won't put hole in your pockets lol. Always called it my flippy. Tried other ones with razor blades built in. Metal ones. Wood ones. This is the way to go 100 percent. The old lady used her cricket to make A decal that says "sure I know what I'm doing"" for the opposite side .

This is great for so many things, even if you are not a painter or even using it while painting. It is a really great scraper as it is stiffer and more durable than it might appear, it will take and hold a good scraping edge, too. The pointed part near the top is great for removing caulk and it is also great for prying smaller areas and even making small holes as would be useful when starting wood screws or cutting drywall. The ability for it to fold is also super useful. It protects the scraper edge during storage and, probably more importantly, protects other tools or materials that may be near it in a tool bag or toolbox. It also makes it so that it doesn't cut or poke you. This is the name-brand for this tool and is top-of-the-line. Given how inexpensive it is, it is a must-buy. You WILL use it more than you might imagine. It is stainless and well-built so it will easily last years, decades, or more.

I have been both a painter and carpenter for decades, so finding new and innovative tools is always a great find. I thought I would try this tool because it folds up. A regular "painter's tool " is a must, but you can't leave it in your pocket all the time(sharp corner). It's like having a pocket knife that does not fold, (another must have pocket tool) in my other pocket. So, when I'm painting it works as a painter's tool, but the great thing here, is that when I'm doing carpentry, it works as a multi purpose tool for an infinite amount of uses. Prying, scraping labels, pulling tape, lifting any edge that your fingernail can't get under, stuffing insulation around windows, cutting, are just a few uses. I discover new uses everyday .....like duct tape. This goes in my pocket every morning. I wish this came out years ago............5 stars here, and that is hard to get from me !

This is a very useful tool to keep in a small toolbox.

Work as a painter and always looked for a foldable multitool like this. Saw this and for the price I thought I give it a go with no really expectations on it to last. And it's been in my work pants and used and abused pretty much every workday for the last 2,5 years. So have bought more so I have spares the day my beloved tool brakes. Only thing I like to do is to sharpen the edge ridiculously sharp. I really recommend this product.

Just a casual painting house interior and this just made opening paint tins effortless, whipping out of pocket to scrape a rough spot, and for really cleaning out paint rollers was absolutely invaluable and saved alot of mess... Glad I purchased it, no bodging little tasks with "other" objects that end up frustratingly lost/ruined/bent.. just a well built tool that lived in my pocket and was the perfect thing to quickly grab.
