I received the product 4 days after placing the order.Since I had used Preethi coffee maker before, I think I can compare both the products with their respective features. The very noteworthy advantage in this coffee maker is the auto cut off feature, which cannot be found in my previous coffee maker. This also has a transparent body which makes water level monitoring easier. The quality of the mesh is amazing, as it uses stainsteel instead of nylon which is generally used. It is energy-efficient as it works on 400w compared to others which works at 450w.The simplicity of the design makes it very easy to use. Considering all the pros that I had noticed I have concluded that this is a very good product and I strongly recommend you go for it. I plan to buy the extra filter set also. Peace out.

A Good South Indian Coffee Maker!
A Coffee maker that serves its purpose. The design is good. Works like any other coffee maker. The hot water drips through slowly like in a traditional South Indian coffee filter. The decoction is rich and full of flavour. You save on usage of powder as less is required for a good strength decoction. I wish the manufacturers were a little more concerned with finish and quality! The handle is plastic and the finish is so poor! Easy enough to sort out if only one cares... The handle is screwed on to the body of the jar with two screws They were loose and one was scared to tighten them as the material of the handle is plastic and the screws may just slip. Small problems, but significant when it comes to assessment of quality. A product that is not too expensive and delivers the coffee you want. So all in all a decent economical solution for a person not fastidious about quality.

Defective
I am using the product from almost 10yrs. But now some defects, the water is leaking. Short circuit and some defects they should check the quality and rectify it. Request to company as I was their loyal customer

Product is good but price is too high
Serves its purpose. The plastic around the SS jug is loose and retains water particles after washing, emits odour. It design might be protection for fingers but removing this plastic hygienically served better.(see pic) Coffee Maker fit and finish is worth not more than Rs.1450. No individual part in this coffee maker is which is expensive or high tech. Request the supplier to align its price to its value.

Good appliance, value for money.
Easy to use and clean. Very functional. We use it twice daily. Only negative aspect is its life. It does not last beyond two years. We must have bought at least 7-8 of these over the past 19 years. One star less for this reason.

It’s a Fantastic product . Gives good quality decoction . I’d used a Philips coffee maker before . The results are comparable. Two things which are really good about the product is the steel jar and the steel mesh .No worries of any part being broken

Good Filter for South Indian decoction coffee
Product works as described. Quite fast. Decoction is also of good quality and flavorful. Overall great value for money. Just have to see how long it lasts
