FEIYUE FY505 Serger Overlock Machine with 2/3/4 Thread Capability, Built-in Rolled Hem, Durable Heavy-Duty Metal Frame, Adjustable Differential Feed

Bought this with tremendous intentions of using it for my custom patches, but to be honest, I have not used it at all. It became very time consuming trying to feed the material through the proper loops. It's good quality, but just not what I got to really experience.

I was returning this item but changed mind. The machine wasn't working because I didnt plug it in correctly. Customer service contacted me and fix the problem. They went out they way to assist me and now I am a very happy customer. The service was excellent very professional. This FY505 serger machine is easy to thread and they have a very detailed video on setting up the machine. I give this service 100%.

Have to say, I was skeptical, but everything came packaged really nicely. Instructions were clear, and I didn’t have to thread it myself, which I was nervous about since I’m a noob! Everything seems to be really solid and I verbally said “stoppp. This is what I was missing?!” When I saw my first super clean seam. Great machine and budget friendly for a beginner!

I was so excited whenever it came in. Reasonably priced. Was ready to get to work. I have a lot of projects I have to do. Spent a little bit of time. I would say about 30 minutes getting it all set up. If you know, you know over lock machines take a little bit of time . After I did that I literally plugged in the pedal and it just started running. And I mean like I put my foot fully on the pedal I was confused. I pulled out the pedal. Tried to pull it up to see if maybe it was jammed and it wasn't. So I did it again just to make sure it wasn't some type of glitch. In there, it was running at full speed by itself. So to test it out, I put my foot on the pedal. And I could hear it accelerate as if it was like a double engine. I don't know this has been a horrible experience.

The theading of the lower looper is difficult. The manuel need to explain more in depth. The manual print is too small. The upper knife makes threading frustrating. The You tube video was helpful. Extra Colored thread would have also been helpful.

I like this serger. My only complaint is that only one side opens in the front for threading the upper and bottom looper and it's a tight fit to get your fingers in the space.

First time buying a serger and I am impressed with the quality. It came on Time, Sews extremely good, and the quality it excellent. Works quite well.

This machine is really good although it only takes 3000m cones not 5000 as stated by amazon

These machine is very good for someone who wants to use an overlocker. It comes with a manual showing how to use it and additional techniques coming in handy. It’s easy to set up and works really fast. Very worth it.

Tried to thread it the moment I got it, discovered the entire machine is stuck. Can't move the needle at all. There are very little troubleshooting resources and the manual is honestly incomprensible for a first time user. Absolute waste of money. Edit: it came threaded so my guess is that I was sent a faulty machine that had been already returned.
