Concord Sandwich Maker/Grill 1000 Watts

We used it twice so far and very satisfied. My wife got fed up with our existing Pretiege sandwich maker (https://www.amazon.in/Prestige-PGMFB-Sandwich-Toaster-Plates/dp/B00935MGKK/). The problem is that the old sandwich maker (probably common to all of them of that type) squeezes the sandwich which causes some of the sauces and the melted cheese to spill out and make a mess. The resultant sandwich is also not good at keeping the contents secured inside as you start biting, probably because they were compressed too much to begin with. The big advantage of the Concord Grill is that you are not squeezing the sandwich so there is no spillover and the sandwich gets done just right. The cheese melts just enough and the sandwich is almost immediately ready to eat. In case of the old sandwich maker, the closed pockets that get created insulate heat and fool you from outside (burnt our tongues more than once). Finally, there are only a few crumbs left in it and it is very easy to clean. We also considered other Grills, some of them even have higher wattage, but we felt safer in this model as we felt there is genuine user feedback and support from manufacturer (who is also a seller here).

I have received the product as described. The sandwiches are grilled quickly and nicely. It has auto cut off once the it heated properly, so no chance of over grilling. The grill plates and coating are delicate and thin. The weight of the sandwich maker is light and body is not sturdy and strong. So it should be handled carefully to avoid any damage while use. Over all its worth for the money paid. Durability need to checked.

loved it. value for money. I have been using it for about 6 months now and I am in love with it. It makes the best sandwiches. two medium sized slices of bread can very easily fit in it ( when I say medium, I mean proper medium like not the small slices of bread)

Concord Grill is 920 Watts and not 1000 as mentioned. The cord is short, only one metre long and not very convenient, would have been nice if it would be atleast 1.25 metres. The dimensions of grilling plate is 24.2 x 17 cms. Wish the grill plate was atleast 26 x 18 cms for ease of use. The top does get hot so have be careful. You can make two sandwiches of medium sized bread avlbl in Bangalore - 10 x 10 cms (side by side - 2 slices each sandwich). See Pic 1. However you cannot lock the griller coz the filling tends to come out. If you try to lock with less filling, the sandwich will get compressed fully and that is not enjoyable. If you are using jumbo bread size 5x5 inch, you have to be careful while placing the slices side by side. They tend to slip out due to the size of the grill plates. See Pic 5. However, if you make only one sandwich of jumbo bread at a time, then its ok and halfway you have to turn the position of the sandwich for even grilling. If you are a vegetarian and want to make Mumbai Veg grill sandwich, which has three slices of bread and two layer of stuffing, then you will face difficulty in closing the top and also the slices will slip out. See PIc 3 and 4. I did not lock the griller for both 2 slices and 3 slices of sandwich. The three sliced sandwich has gone wacky as in Pic 4 Though it is mentioned that the hinges are floating, they are not, otherwise would not have to worry about the quantity of stuffing ! Once you finish a set of sandwich, the griller takes about a minute to restart. Only one red indicator light and auto cut off and auto start. The lock is very flimsy and was getting scared it might break so did not lock. Have not used it for anything else. Also, once the sandwich is grilled, please keep it on wire rack or pressure cooker base plate so that it does not become soggy. See Pic 2 Overall, Its an ok ok product for a small family of two or three. Got it at 1402/- during sale.

Works like a charm. I was so used to keeping my sandwich on the grill for 10 minutes for it become crispy around the edges and the center (which is the most difficult part of bread to grill). However, this sandwich maker grilled in less than 5 minutes. No kidding. I even use it for grilling my sub and other food items. It's good and effective.

It's actually a good product. I use it mostly to make veg sandwiches and I'm really satisfied with it. It's very easy to use even if you are a beginner. I happy with my product.

Excellent product by Concord and value for money too... its more durable than its competitor's products in the market finally my family is enjoying the sandwiches that it grills to perfection. Hope it surpasses its one year warranty period without hassle.

I have received a damaged product. The worst part is there is no replace option. So i have waited for almost a week is for nothing and have to order again.
