Delicious
Ginger chunks is what makes the product stand out. It isn't spicy. Though you get to enjoy the crunchy ginger pieces, be aware of the sugar content as well. If you are healthy enough to overlook the sugar, then go for it.

Mackays Ginger Preserve is truly delectable. In fact, all the Jams and Preserves of Mackays are very tasty. I would request the manufacturer to make them available also in 500 gm bottles.

The product is really a great value for money. Great flavour and taste. Best part is that upon applying the preserve on bread you will get pieces of Strawberries. Very tasty.

There's very little ginger in the ginger preserve.Not worth the money spent.Would do very well to add more ginger pieces

Different from what is shown on description page
One of the product images here shows that the amount of sugar is only 13 grams. But on the product, the amount of sugar present is 55 grams. This is unacceptable!

Like Grandma's hands
It is good. Taste like ginger, not artificial, but real ginger. The cost is not high, especially considering it tastes like it came from your Grandma's kitchen. Something she simmered and stirred lovingly for a while, waiting for it to be just right.

Hands down the very BEST fruit preserves I have ever tasted. This is an adult flavor. You can taste the ginger in every bite. I've begged local stores to carry this.
