Is this workable with yamaha psr e 353 as sustain pedal

It is a universal Sustain Pedal and should work with any keyboard. It is working absolutely fine with my Casio CTK6300IN Keyboard. I don't know about Yamaha. Most probably it should work.

My pedal is unresponsive now what should i do?

if you are new with that check your keyboard/DP s pedal function...did you check the polarity switch? try swapping that...try the pedal with another keyboard/DP if possible...check the cable with any multimeter or continuity tester..if all fail open the pedal ..replace the tact switch with similar..which is very available everywhere..good luck..
