I started a 3 gallon tank that I’m using as just a mystery snail tank. I started the tank by just using lava rock and sand as my substrate. Planted the seeds by just dropping seeds and than covering them with a thin layer of sand. I used water from one of my other tanks and put enough where it doesn’t go over the substrate. I sprayed some fertilizer that I have (any will probably do honestly) and covered the tank with some plastic and sealed it. I have mine in a well lit area that gets the perfect 12 hours of light from mid to end of day. But if you don’t have that option a lamp will do. The seeds started rooting around the first/second day. And within about week and a half the long grass and short grass grew like crazy. I started adding water around the 4th day. I add more water as soon as the long grass touches the top of the water. Pretty happy with the results. It will probably get even better as the the months go by. These pictures were taken throughout the week and 2 days it’s been since I started growing them.

Seeds didnt grow ar all.. I followed all instructions

Good value for the money. Mine did not sprout but I think I may have done it wrong. Would buy again.

These seeds are awesome. I put them in my tank and in 3 days they were growing.

Only the long hair grass sprouted the other round seeds slimed together and started to grow mold. I was able to save the long hair seeds after decontaminating.

Photos taken throughout the week. As soon as the long hair started sprouting, it grew inches within days.

The dwarf leaf grew good. The long hair maybe 1/4 of seeds germinated. The small hair not one seed germinated.
