After reading some of the reviews, I had to laugh. Here is an honest one. The can is a nice size and holds any brand of 13-gallon bags. (at least the off brands I tried). The foot pedal works, but I find it easier to just lift the lid. Maybe when your hands are full, the pedal would be good. There are flip-up bag holders inside that are great for me. Keeps everything inside with no bag hanging out. The plastic seems to be pretty durable, and it wipes clean fairly easily. Reasonably priced, too.

Great buy for the money. I absolutely refused to spend tons for a trash can. This gets the job done and it’s not half bad to look at. Seems like pretty good quality. Only complaint is the arms that hold the trash bag inside are flimsy.

Read many reviews and so GLAD I got this one. It’s the only one that allows for ease of addition and removal of trash bag easily. Bags don’t show outside of the container. Nice size too. No batteries like others require and I like the manual opening. Not much to go wrong with this very basic but highly functional item. It looks nice and easy to clean. I like the black color too. Great value for the price.

I've gotten both the big one and the small one. The big one is great, very sturdy works great. The small one is a little oversized and flimsy. If you want one for your kitchen, get the bigger one. If you want one for an office or other space, get something else.

Basic, simple design for a kitchen trash can. Works well, easy to use. Good product. Worth the price.

It's very nice but just a lot bigger than I thought. It's nice and there are little brackets to hold your bag in place. Recommend measuring and mine just fits. Pretty hearty and seems like it will be durable.

Nice size trash can with a large opening. Functional and opens nicely. Not fancy, but does the job.

This garbage can is okay but not great. There are instructions for installing the lid, but I didn't need them since it came fully assembled, which I appreciated. It has two major drawbacks though. The first is that once the lid is open, you have to push it to close it. I was hoping for a can where you step on the pedal, the lid opens, you toss the trash in, then when you take your foot off the pedal the lid closes. This one doesn't do that. If you fully step on the pedal the lid opens and stays open. You have to push it with your hand to get it to close. You could be careful to put just the right amount of pressure on the foot pedal to open it just enough to toss the trash in without it opening fully, then it would close. But honestly, who wants to have to take that much care just to throw out some trash? The second problem is that there is no handle on the top. The lid fits perfectly right into the frame, with no room to spare, which is great -- except that you can't get your fingers in there. Because there is no handle, there is no way to open this lid with one hand while tossing in trash with the other. Your only option is to use the foot pedal. I get that's the purpose of the can, but sometimes you might be to the side of the can, or sitting down, or whatever, and you just want to be able to quickly open the lid and toss something in without having to position yourself right in front of it to access the pedal with your foot. It would be a huge improvement if they'd just add a simple handle so you can open the lid with your hand if needed. For these two reasons I am going to return this can. I just don't want to deal with these annoyances for the next however many years. If those things don't bother you, then the can is great. Nice quality, arrived in good condition, seems solid enough and not flimsy.

I love the capacity of this garbage can. Also it has a large opening so you can easily empty other waste basket into this larger one. It also has a holding system that holds your garbage bag in place. So it's always fitted in the garbage can. I use 30 gallon bags. When the lid is closed, no awful smells seep out. The only weakness is the opening of the lid. It's working as usual but when I first received it, the plastic nodule that is crucial for the whole foot pedal lid opening functionality to work was broken probably due to the poor shipping packaging. Each time I press the foot pedal, the lid came off of the garbage can on the side where the nodule was broken. This shows how fragile and dependent the foot pedal lid opening mechanism is. However, I returned the defective one and got a new one that works. It's working so far and it's absolutely wonderful. I hope these nodules will last. The other thing that can be improved is to put some sort of rubber under the garbage can to stop the garbage can from sliding back each time the foot pedal is pressed. It keeps on moving but this annoyance is tolerable but I would prefer if the design team would resolve this minor flaw.

Unfortunately, the foot pedal mechanism failed after just 3 days of use.

Tiene muy buen tamaño y el plástico es de buena calidad. Tuve problemas con la bisagra de la tapa, se rompió. Específicamente la bisagra trae unos anillos de plástico muy débiles, que al poco uso se desgastan y se rompen.

The garbage can ships with the top part unattached, you have to push it in until it clicks. The lid has an annoying habit of popping free, forcing you to push it back in. Otherwise, it's a very good garbage can.
