Never really had a need for a stamp dispenser so my experience is limited here. From an absolute first timer, here are my thoughts. Functional yes, absolutely serves its purpose. I found it hard to load, it seemed too small to take the roll and I wound it tight. Once the roll was it, it kept wanting to unwind making it somewhat aggravating to piece back together. For that reason it has hard to pull the stamps out while the roll was new. Once it got smaller, use became easier. Great for regular use is my thought, but if I was churning through stamps on the daily, I would spend a bit more and upgrade.For the way I use it, I would buy it again....no need for me to have something industrial and this is not.

This is sturdy and good quality.

it stays together well. And I hope it's holding the LAST roll of stamps I will ever buy! (since we don't use many these days!) I'm glad I bought the roll before prices went up in July!

The two pieces do not stay together

We always buy stamps by the roll. This little dispenser works great for keeping them.

Roll of stamps is too big for container. Cheap material and does not work
