Best Hot Roller Set Ever!
This is one if the best sets of hot rollers I have ever owned! The rollers are hot and ready to roll hair before I even get my hair blown dry! The rollers have never burned around my face or neck as some of the ones from my past did, requiring a piece of facial tissue placed under the roller to prevent pain. They seem to be better on my hair than the older very hot ones. They gently curl my medium length hair in record time, without making it too curly like old ones did. The convenient clips hold the rollers until they are ready to be removed. I highly recommend this set of rollers. So far I have used all but one of the rollers when I roll my hair. I do not use them on my bangs as they are really too large for most bangs. I use a curling iron and than roll bangs on small brush rollers and leave them in until the hot rollers are ready to be removed. It gives me the perfect page boy hairdo I like, and it holds for a couple of days.

Nice set
This is a nice roller set. It will curl your hair and put volume in like a salon blow out. The curlers are flocked with felt and very soft on your hair. They heat up and can be used fairly quickly, but it is better to leave them heat up completely. They are hot but will not burn your fingers unless you touch the metal inside the curler. The curlers are heavy since they are metal inside and will slide down out of your initial placement. The clips work well but after the curlers have been in place a few minutes, the heat and the weight of the curlers makes them hang down a bit. I have fine medium length hair with layers. I did not use any hair setting products the first time to see how best to use them. I left the curlers in until they cooled off, about 20 minutes while I put my make up on. It turned out wonderful and lasted most of the day, but the next time I will use some mouse and gel during the hair drying process before I use the hot rollers. Hair setting lotions or mouse will help the curls hold better if the hair is fine. A hot roller set is a nice switch from using a curling iron, it seems much faster. I love this set and the price is great, It came in overnight, in one day.

Good rollers, take 20 minutes to heat up, GenX trick to hold them in place
A pretty case & a good HOT set of rollers in convenient sizes for me, replacing my set from the 90s. I have to let them heat up for 20 minutes, not the 90 seconds I read somewhere. That's ok, I also had to heat up my old set for 20 minutes from day one. They don't burn my fingers. The white clip roller holders don't hold my thick chunky sections of hair, but neither did those metal pins that came with the old set. For decades I've been using the Round Plastic SNAP ON CLIPS that come with Rollers or Curlers for wet hair, the pink (medium) or yellow ( larger) all hard plastic vented hair rollers. They hold these rollers tight, tight enough to multi task while the rollers sit in your hair. They are totally worth it. I got my last set here on Amazon. They do leave a slight crimp near the roots that can't be seen on my finished look and the crimp disappears quickly . I have thick, layered, shoulder length hair.

The clips do not stay…
3 stars bc the clips are terrible! They are made of thin flimsy plastic and do not stay put. The rollers end up falling out as soon as you move- super frustrating! The set heats up fast but without the clips to hold the rollers in place, the rollers are worthless. I just ordered a new, hopefully better quality set of clips today. If they don’t work either, I’ll be sending the entire roller set back.

My honest opinion as a beginner
I will be completely honest as someone who has purchased these since March 2026 and have been trying these heat rollers until now June 2026. When I tried these heated hair rollers for the 1st time, I was struggling with using them especially when it was really my first time using hair rollers in general. As I started using it the 2nd and 3rd time, I actually was able to find a way to do it well as a beginner. At first, I did not like the heat rollers only because the clips that came with it was not that stable to hold my hair for a long time and it kept falling off. Not only that, but the clips in general just felt flimsy to me. I decided to just not make my opinion yet because I still needed to try these heat rollers out many times and also because I probably was not using the heat rollers and the clips provided correctly. By the third time I started using the heat rollers, I have figured out a way to be able to use them especially with knowing how to use these clips correctly. The longer part of the clip is actually supposed to help hold the heat rollers in place so that the heat roller doesn’t fall off. So as soon as I figured that out by myself, I was able to figure out a way for me to use them. I love these rollers because the feeling of the rollers does not feel cheap when placing it on the hair. The texture of it feels very smooth and soft especially since it’s a velvet texture. The way I use these hair rollers is that I split it by three sections going from bottom to top for my left and right side of my hair. I don’t put all hair rollers at once. I do it by sections (bottom, middle, top) so I use at least 3-4 heat rollers per side within the section. I do it by sections especially as a beginner because I’m still not really that great in placing the clips well on the heat rollers. Not only that but when I put too much of the heat rollers on my hair, one of those tend to fall off from my hair. That’s why I do it by sections which 3-4 hair rollers on the left and right from bottom to top. Within 10 minutes after being done with whichever side, my hair already has that blowout look that I like. Usually my hair loses the form of the curl, but it really made the wave of my hair really smooth which I love. Whenever you use this, make sure to do it on dry hair after you’re done showering for better results. Also just have really good hair products and have a good heat protectant. I’m very picky with what I use especially when I have bleached hair. The only thing I really do wish is that I wish that there was an on and off button for these heat rollers instead of unplugging it. Also, I wish that there’s an easier way to tell when the heat rollers are ready instead of looking at the little white dot in one of the heat rollers to see if the heat is already gone in the hair. Lastly, it would be even more better if there were clips that are more stable especially for beginners like me who is trying out heat rollers for the first time. I have looked thoroughly at the reviews and one of them was able to bring these throughout travel. I will be traveling soon, so if I have enough space in my personal item or carry on, I will definitely try to see if I can bring these for travel and I have yet to see how it’s like traveling with them. Overall, I love these heat rollers and I’m so glad the heat rollers (not the clips) really don’t feel cheap when using them. Not only that, but it actually gave my hair the blowout look I wanted. It was worth spending my money for it honestly.

Gives A Good Style In A Short Time
Only used about 4 times so far but am so glad to get another set after mine went kafoohey. They heat quickly to a good temperature. I had a set of other clips that I use instead of the pins that came with them. I spritz my hair very lightly as I roll each section. Percent set! One warning I might give is that because they are heated by two horizontal bars there is a slit in one end of the roller, which makes it very easy to burn your fingertips or in my case I burned my temple. The longer they heat the hotter they get. One thing that irritated the stew out of me is that when I put them in my cart they were NOT on sale at a cost of $39.99, however 2 days later when I pulled up my cart they were $65.00!!!! Somebody explain that because it is ridiculous! I had to have new a new set so I purchased them. I would like to say that was a cheap shot but it wasn't cheap to me at all!

The Perfect Solution!
I have had my old set of hot rollers for 35 years. It was the typical set of small, medium, and large, when you really just wanted jumbo. I’ve been searching forever and found these. After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to try them out. Wow!! They are PERFECT!! I plug them in while I’m drying my hair and they are ready when I’m done. I have very thick, coarse hair. The 12 rollers are the exact number I need to accomplish in one step. The clips are super easy to use and hold in place. I keep the rollers in for about two minutes. Actually, once I complete rolling all my hair, I immediately start taking out the first rollers. With the pictures, you can see what is accomplished in two minutes. If I want less curl, I leave them in for one minute. If I want a lot of curl, I leave them in for five minutes. I would recommend gently taking the hair out of the roller without pulling it so that it maintains the curl. Allow your hair to cool for a few minutes before running your hands through it. That’s what I did in the last picture. Since these are so easy, I’m traveling with these in my carry-on. It is a game changer and I am so thrilled to finally find exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Took a while to heat up
I’m one of those “old” people who grew up using heated rollers. I’m not sure we even had curling irons in the 70s. I recently decided I needed to try them again, and settled on these jumbo curlers; I don’t want really tight curls, just loose waves and volume. This set has 12 curlers, and 12 clips that hold the curlers in place. These are plastic claw clips, not the metal C clips. The instructions say that the set warms up in 88 seconds. There is a red light that is supposed to turn white when the unit is heated. My red light never changed. I suggest a timer to set and remind you. I let mine heat for about 5 minutes. The curlers were hot, but not uncomfortably so. I have shoulder length, fairly thick hair, and had a couple of rollers left after rolling my hair. I left the rollers in for 15 minutes, and then carefully removed them. I had plenty of body and waves after the removal of the rollers. I let my hair cool, then ran my fingers through my hair, followed by a very large tooth comb. I still had lots of body the next morning after sleeping on it. I’m very pleased with my purchase. There is not a place to store the clips, so be prepared to find something to keep them in.
