Strong enough for what I need.
Use them on a Narrowboat, they are strong enough to pickup mooring chains that are dropped through the Armco, which saves having to sometimes bend way down and into the canal water to get the other end of the loop. Also use it through a plastic bag to pick up metal filings if drilling and tapping holes.

Excellent tool.
Brilliant tool, useful for picking up lighters that have fallen down the sofa, spoons on the floor, etc. Ideal for people who struggle to pick things up. I use mine every day for a variety of things, to open and close the curtains, reaching things from higher shelves, it's very versatile.

Magnetic Tool 👍
✅ This set of three telescopic magnetic pickup tools is incredibly useful for retrieving metal objects from hard-to-reach places. Whether you're picking up screws, bolts, or keys, these magnets are perfect for rescuing small iron-based items without having to bend over. However, keep in mind they won’t work on most stainless steel, as it's not typically magnetic. ✅ These magnets are handy in various settings, from the garage to the home, office, or yard. With one placed in each location, you'll always have a reliable tool ready when you need to retrieve metal objects, adding convenience to your everyday tasks. ✅ Despite being only 7 inches long when retracted, this magnetic tool can extend up to 31 inches, making it ideal for reaching into tight or awkward spaces. The 0.87-inch magnetic head is small enough to fit into narrow areas, ensuring you can retrieve even the smallest items. ✅ The magnetic tool features a cushioned, non-slip handle that provides a comfortable grip, making it easy to use for extended periods. Additionally, the pen pocket clip adds to its portability, allowing you to carry it with ease wherever you go. ✅ This magnetic pickup tool makes for a unique and practical gift, perfect for occasions like Christmas, birthdays, Father's Day, or just as a thoughtful present for men, women, or the elderly. This magnetic pickup tool is a versatile and practical accessory that’s a great addition to any toolkit, offering both functionality and convenience in various situations.

Good strong magnets. I’ve reached a certain age it seems!
So when I was young my grandad would give me one of these to play with/keep me quiet when I visited there house. My nan would give me her grabber (there’s no way of saying that without it sounding wrong!). My grandad would get me to pick up all the screws and nails on the shed floor with one of these magnets. It seems I’ve now turned in to the age where having these is actually a useful thing rather than a fun thing. (Not that it can’t be fun I’m sure) Anyway, what you need to know about here is that the magnet is strong and will certainly pick up the majority of small things you drop on the floor. Now, I’ve not tried it on a 20lb item that is says it can lift, but there’s also a part of me that things if I’ve dropped something that weighs around 9kg then it’s going to be fairly large and bulk and is probably easier to lift with both hands. I’m not even sure what I own and am likely to drop that size. I think our microwave weighs in at about 10KG, i would find it easier to lift that with my hands than with two these magnets I think. That said, they are good. They are strong and they extend to just under 80cm so have a good length on them. It’s nice not having to bend down every time I drop the screw I’m holding. I dropped several screws and a spanner under our decking recently and the magent, though too large to get through the gap, was strong enough to attract both. With a little twisting and manoeuvring all screw retrieved. Unable to get the spanner on it side, so that sadly is probably lost for ever unless I unscrew the decking! What I’m trying to say is that these are decent and useful, and if you have grandkids might be more useful than you think to keep them entertained for a while, and do a job for you under the guise of fun! £15 for three of them - bargain!

Only whilst the Magnet worked
Not good ...got the magnetic head hot after trying to get a fork that got stuck in my gas oven whilst cooking yes it picked it up but it got quite hot but not enough to burn your skin, next day went to use it to pick up a paper clip i droped behind a draw could not even pick it up as magnet has lost its magnetic propities. But then again what did i actual expect with 3 for under £15 and made in china. Will not buy from them again...... really want a refund but guess i wont get it.

Superb quality, very strong magnet and quite rigid
These telescopic magnets are great quality and the thick pole stays quite rigid even under load. There was more to like than dislike overall, I liked the quality and materials used, the rubberised handle was ergonomic for its size, the telescopic sections were thickened which made it quite rigid even at full extension, I didn't trust the '20lb' load but I would trust it around 5lb and perhaps more but not fully extended, common sense will guide you as to how much it can handle at each extension, but it is by far the strongest I've experienced. The magnet is quite powerful and easily picked up large tools like hammers and socket wrenches, it appears to be held in place in its holder securely and there's no wobble, since I had 3 of them I decided to stress test one and gave it some welly, the handle would give way before the magnet would for sure, I went a bit over the top and bent one of them but I was being silly at that point, in general use I trust this a lot. The pen clip might be handy for mechanics with overalls but it got in the way for me so I removed it, it felt better in the hand after that. Value for money? I am happy with the asking price, this tool should last years and years as long as I don't go mad with it, in theory it will pick up a shovel, but in practice the extended rod couldn't 'handle' that kind of load.

Useful for the sewing room
I got this for my sister to use. She is a professional wardrobe mistress on tv and film, and her sewing room on set has to be kept fully tidy and safe at all times. The major issue is pins. If pins get onto the floor they can hold up a production because of the injury potential. So she is always looking for ways to keep everything tidy and together. This telescopic tool is great for the floor particularly. It’s fairly heavy as it’s made from decent metal - steel I assume- and it has an easy to grip handle area. It also has a pocket clip, like a pen, so it can be carried around safely. Basically for any kind of workshop where metal items might be spilled, this extendable magnet will be invaluable. The magnet is strong enough to pick up a pair of scissors for example, so could be good as a disability aid too. Good to keep in the kitchen if bending to fetch dropped items is an issue.
