Easy to use and actually does the job
I think like many people, I ended up here after seeing video after video on TikTok of ladies getting gorgeous results from this tool. I finally caved but was skeptical and figured there was no way this would work as well as I had seen. Well, just hours after receiving the item, I had really pretty, smooth hair with bouncy ends!It heated up quickly and was super easy to use. I have watched approximately a million videos of people using this tool which I think helped. It will definitely take some additional practice to figure out how to get a curl vs a flip at the end, but I’m pretty impressed at how it worked on kinda greasy, unwashed hair. It looks a lot better than regular straightening, and I was able to use larger chunks of hair which made the whole process take maybe 10 minutes, so will definitely be fast for use before work. I’m lazy about styling and think this will be a good way to style without a ton of work.I have very long, mostly straight hair. I have a ton of hair but individual strands would be considered pretty fine. The brush glided through my hair really easily with just a few hang ups here and there. It definitely is gonna rip some hair out like any tool, but I don’t think it was more than a regular straightener.Overall, this works exactly as I had hoped. YMMV depending on hair type, but I think it’s worth a try if you have been mesmerized by videos like I have. I look forward to getting more practice and may update with a photo as I use it a bit more and get a sense of longevity in particular. Hopefully I continue to be impressed.UPDATE: I still am liking this, both for mostly straight hair with a flip at the end as well as adding a bit more of a curl. The curls do not last long on me (a few hours tops) but I also only use heat protector and I’m sure longevity would be better if I actually made an effort to use different products. I think this would work even better for someone who has more layers than I do.

Even better than I could have dreamed! And works in Europe
I am OBSESSED with this thermal brush! I recently got a new haircut with tons of layers and blow-drying alone wasn't giving me the look that I wanted. I ordered this brush and WOW, my hair looks salon done in literal seconds. The brush takes seconds to heat up and has 3 heat settings. I run it through a few chunks and it instantly gives me the volume and flip that I'm looking for. I love it even more on days where I just need to touch up my hair in the morning or before dinner, its super fast to use. I also recently brought it to Europe with me and used it in London as well as Scotland and had zero issues with the voltage. Every single hair device I have brought to Europe in years past has been fried from their voltage so I was so happy this one worked like a dream! No idea how long this will last, i saw some reviews about it not lasting long, but at this price, I will happily buy another one if this one goes bad!

Heats up fast! Gets rid of frizz, but beware of button placement.
I am only giving it four out of five stars because the temperature buttons are exactly where hand placement goes while using, so it's easy to accidentally change the temperature while in use. The temp choices are : 330°, 370°, and 410°. If you accidentally make it too hot, you will burn your hair off. Pros: It came with very useful and clear instructions, included additional hair clips and a small brush to clean the barrel, took less than 60 seconds to heat up, is very lightweight. and it makes no noise. I recommend making sure to comb out hair of any possible knots before use, and it will glide on the hair very smoothly. I noticed it left my hair free of frizz and shiny. I have long, naturally curly hair, and it took me minutes to get my hair completely smooth. I will try it again after a wash day and see how it works with my hair when it is more curly, but so far I am very pleased. I purchased the pink, and it is very pretty. The actual barrel portion is only 4" tall, but that will keep you from trying to curl too much hair at a time. I like that this is something I could easily toss into a carry on bag and use in place of several styling tools.

Initial impression: absolutely blown away
I thought my hair was a lost cause- being 6 years postpartum, my hair is frizzier, coarser, wavier and more difficult to manage than it had ever been before. I do put a significant amount of effort into styling my nearly waist-length hair and am quite proficient at it: washing and conditioning it every other day, applying a concoction of heat protectant, hair serum and leave-in-conditioner then roughly blowdrying, followed up by completely drying with a L’ange blow dryer brush followed by wrapping my hair in an overnight curling rod before bed. Despite this amount of effort and trying multiple brands of hair products and applying additional smoothing serum and a few passes of my straightening iron over my hairline and the outer layer of my hair, there’s still some fluffy frizz that I’ve been very displeased with.As many others have, I came across a video of this product and others like it and was very intrigued. I’ve purchased and discarded an embarrassing number of hair tools over recent years so initially I put this one off as another one I would try and no longer use. Then I kept thinking about it and wondering if it might be worthwhile after seeing more videos. There are quite a few on the market that are very similar with varying prices. With the number of reviews and a good sale price recently, I decided that it would be worth a shot so I ordered the Wavytalk Updated Version Thermal Brush.Last night, after receiving the brush, I dried it for the first time on my wavy and frizzy air-dried hair. I applied some heat protectant spray, leave in conditioner and hair serum and brushed out my hair before trying it out. I kid you not, that in less than 10 minutes, my hair was smoother and shinier than it has EVER been in recent memory. I mean literally no frizz in sight. There are 3 heat settings and I tested the low and medium heat levels- both of which are sufficient for my hair texture, and only needed 2 passes on each small section (one from the front, one from behind) to get this result. Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe it… these are literally the results I’ve been seeking for so long and I was so completely delighted as I thought it wasn’t possible to get my hair this smooth unless I got a keratin treatment. I didn’t need to use my blower dryer, dryer brush or straightening iron. Now it’s the next day and I slept on the hair I styled last night- it’s still as smooth and frizz free as yesterday and held the slight curls I created. I’m absolutely blown away…I still have to practice how to get more pronounced curls, see over time if my hair incurs more damage from heat styling with this tool (though I will continue to always use heat protectant) and experience how this thermal brush will perform and hold up over time but for under $40 and what it’s done to my hair confidence after just a single use, I’m happy to recommend this product as a worthy investment! My only regret is not having discovered it sooner as it would’ve saved me so much time, money and effort.

Even my hair stylist loved it
I purchased this because ,truth be told, I am kind of a klutz, especially with my hair ....a brush in one hand and a blow dryer in the other was no longer cutting it. I had shoulder surgery after a bad fall and break and even with a year+ of PT I don't have the range of motion I used to have. This has made a big difference in my daily hair routine. This does not blow air, it's a heated brush (so make sure your hair is dry before using) and it is so easy to use. My hair is about shoulder length so the brush diameter works perfectly for me, a bit shorter or longer would still work. I had it about a month ago and was getting my hair cut so I brought it with me. My hair dresser really liked it, and used it to style my hair and it looked great. Using it is not rocket science, you don't need a professional stylist to walk you thru it. I think it's a great tool, I'm glad I got it. I thought it was good value for the money

Silky smooth results!
I’m giving this “hot brush” 5 stars even though it didn’t curl my hair as expected. I thought it would be an easy replacement for my curling iron but I misinterpreted what it actually does. It’s actually a nice alternative to a flatiron. My hair is 100% silver, medium length with some frizz. Wavytalk tamed my hair to the smooth, silky locks I remember from my youth and my daughters love the result on their hair as well. Caution! It gets hot. I recommend using a thermal glove to protect your fingers.

Great tool until it started losing its heat
I was very happy with this tool at first. While I was disappointed to realize it didn’t blow hot air, I tried it anyway and it ended up being my favorite tool for styling. I’d let my hair dry naturally and then use this tool to form waves each time I washed my hair, or for a quick touch up before going out. My hair has a slight wave to it but it generally looks messy unless I heat style it. This was the perfect tool for that until it stopped heating up. I purchased it on 4/8/26 and it’s now 5/24/26 and already it doesn’t get as hot as it did for the first few weeks. I went back and read the critical reviews and see many that say the tool didn’t last a year. Mine lasted long enough to be past the return window. It still heats but doesn’t curl as well since it doesn’t get as hot. I’m disappointed and would try another to see if it was just randomly a bad one, but don’t want to chance ending up with another dud. Next time I will go to the store.

Wavytalk Thermal Brush
I purchased my Wavytalk last June 2024 on a recommendation from a youtuber I have watched for the last 6 years and have used it almost every single day since. I have medium length, thick hair & I do color to keep my gray hair in check. In the several months I have used the Wavytalk I have not had any problems with it damaging my hair. It actually does make it look healthier each time I use it which no other curling iron has ever done before. And I use it every morning for work so believe me when I say it does not dry out my hair or make it look frizzy. I also have switched to better hair shampoo/conditioner and a blow dryer for my hair type so I think that plays a part too. Now there are two reasons why I am not giving it 5 stars. One, I have thick hair and the time I have to hold the brush to get a curl is longer than the 20 seconds that is shown in the directions. I end up leaving it in for about a minute. And even after doing that the curl does not hold well in my hair. My hair falls flat only after about half a day at work. Recently I started using a workable hairspray that I spray on before and it seems like it helps a little bit. Still, it doesn't last as long as I would like it to which is unfortunate because when I first curl it & finish it up it looks perfect. The waves are gorgeous & it looks like I did have a professional do my hair! The second reason is because I noticed that the brush bristles are falling off at a rapid rate so I will have to end up purchasing the brush again and it hasn't even been a year. I hope that they make improvements to it in the near future. Please please please make a new brush that can hold up the curls for people with thick hair and make some changes to the brush bristles so they don't fall out. Overall, I am happy with the Wavytalk thermal brush and would recommend to give it a try. I think you will love it, it is a game changer!Update 7/2025Well, I ended up contacting the Wavytalk folks to replace my brush a few months back. Within two weeks I had a replacement. Customer service was great, unfortunately, I can't say that I am still in love with the Wavytalk. Yes, it still softens my hair & makes the frizz go away but it also is damaging my hair & small hairs are falling out every time I use it.. not just a small amount, I am covered in small hairs after using the brush. I know... this is the total opposite of what I had said a few months back but this was not happening in the beginning, only after about a year of constant use did I start to notice. I was using it on high heat & for a longer amount of time so I started using the lower heat & only kept it in my hair for 20-30 seconds. I have been using heat protectant products beforehand as well. I am disappointed to say that none of this has helped. Maybe because my hair is thick & it only works for thin hair but I am not sure. The replacement brush is also losing the bristles so this probably will not last another year! I figured it would happen since they sent the exact same brush as I had before. I sure hope Wavytalk can make some improvements. For me, it just didn't work out.

The product was bad
The product was the worst, the heat didn’t work, I sent it to my friend in Albania as a gift, I didn’t open it to try it and she said to me that it didn’t work, I need another one so I can send it to her

Wavy hair sisters, this is an investment 😃
Writing this review from my boyfriend’s account😀best product for wavy hair girls! Love this so much.. I have thick wavy curls, blow drying on my own at home is time consuming and felt like a chore! after spending on soooo many blow dryers out there, this is the ultimate best! Easy to blow out, not so time consuming , gets the job done after 2 or 3 pass and stays for long! The hair doesn’t feel dry and frizzy after you set it.. no noise and light weight! Finally found a product for my type of hair. Highly recommend! The only thing to note because it is a US product, you will have to buy an adapter to plug it which can be purchased in less than 200 rupees.
