Cheap AND effective
Worked perfectly for me. Easy to use. I only used it for wooden studs but it was dead on

Fair but not the best
This is a decent device. It isnt accurate unless you are really pressing down on it. If you are then it works. However a slight movement will knock the calibration off and you will need to do it again.

Battery dead
Received product today open the box and battery is loose and flopping around in box and once battery was put in product battery read that it was dead!! Not happy at all when you buy a product that comes with a dead battery!!!
