Perfect for people who frequently lose their wallet, and could save you greif and money.
I bought this in October and I felt so lucky to have got it when I did because within a month I had left my wallet behind at a grocery store. Luckily it was closing time at the publix when I left it at the self checkout and someone turned it in, but when I was at home later that evening I was looking for my wallet and started to panic. Then I remembered I have this card tracker in it, so I looked it up in the Find my app. It showed that it was at publix and the last time it was pinged was about 11pm, and they close at 10pm. It also showed a pretty decent position on the map that it was in the center of the store, which I know to be the customer service counter location. So knowing it was pinged over an hour after closing time, and near the center of the store, I felt RELIEF knowing my wallet was in good hands at the Publix, and I could sleep well knowing I could show up in the morning and retrieve my lost wallet. I was fortunate enough that no one even took the money out of it and there were a few hundred dollars in it. Also, it has a ring that I can trigger. So when I went to ask the manager for my wallet, she said "can you tell me what it looks like and what name is on the cards?" to identify and verify I am the owner of the wallet. So I just clicked the "play a sound" button in the app and my wallet started singing, and I said "its that one" with a smile and she didnt need any more proof it was my wallet. Aside from this potentially traumatic incident that I narrowly avoided by using this tracker, I also use it very frequently just to locate my wallet when I have misplaced it in my house. I am pretty scatterbrained and constantly distracted, so it happens a LOT, so its become just part of my routine to have to use the app to find my wallet whenever im leaving the house. I've had it 10 months now and the battery still going strong. I like the card design because it just fits in the back hidden compartment of my wallet and doesn't bulge out of the wallet or anything. completely discreet. The ringing sound is loud enough I can hear it across my house. It seems to be made well and I don't know if its supposed to be water proof but my wallet has gotten wet many times and it still going strong. This is one of my favorite purchases in recent years. I also have the coin shaped tracker for my keys and I can't imagine not having them now. I intend to purchase several more of both the card tracker, and the chip trackers, to use in everything that I am constantly losing. These per perfect for ADHD folks like myself and saves so much time and panic from finding things on a regular basis, not to mention the cost of losing a wallet.

Disappointed
Does not work, very intermittent if I shake the card . The instructions were easy to follow, connected to my device quickly but when activating sound, it would not respond. Sometimes saying " having trouble connecting, try again later," . Disappointing . Also I believed that a distance figure appear to assist locating but none showed up.

Loud, consistent chime. Works flawlessly so far
Very good product. Loud, consistent chime and functions as expected. I want people to be aware of the following, because I notice some people are confused: not all Chipolo products are the same. I saw some people writing negative reviews saying some Chipolo products let them connect to both the android find my hub and the Chipolo app while some products do not. This is not a glitch or a problem, this just depends on the product you are using. This particular product, the Chipolo Card Point, only connects to the android find my hub because it is an OLDER Chipolo product. The Chipolo POP Tracker Tag, which I also purchased, connects to both the android find my hub and Chipolo app because it is a NEWER Chipolo Product. Chipolo added the dual connectivity and app customization features to their newer products.

So far, working great. Only limited testing. No battery life indication.
Adding this to the Google "Find My Device" network couldn't have been easier. It was a far easier task than the process with the Tile devices I replaced which use a custom app. It very reliably shows up in the Find My Device app. It shows me within a reasonable proximity where the device was last seen by my phone. It lets you trigger a sound to find the device. All of that works pretty much flawlessly. What I have not been able to test is how effective the "Find My Device" network really is when you've lost it somewhere in public, like dropping your wallet in the Starbucks as I've done, and then being able to see if OTHERS are sending information about where THEY last detected it. When Google rolled out the network on Android in the middle of last year, the initial feedback was that this worked decently well in very high traffic areas, but Google going much further than Apple (too far, I'd suggest) in trying to protect against using these to secretly track other people made it so that it would not report its location in lower traffic areas, so the utility was sometimes diminished. Recent reviews of these devices seem to report decent trackability in a variety of settings, but I have not been able to personally vouch for how well the network is going to work if/when I lose something. I have lost my wallet twice with the Tile and although there are loads of people with this system, the wallet loss at Starbucks where somebody took it home with them only showed me the Starbucks as the "last seen" and for the other loss it remained where my phone had last seen it. Anyway, the Tile was no more helpful in that first loss than this Chipolo would be even if it's not utilizing other devices for its "last seen" location. I don't recall whether Tile at the time didn't pass on info from others using Tile unless I was paying for the Premium plan, or if it just wasn't very effective. In any case, I believe the Chipolo with Find My Device is going to be AT LEAST as helpful, perhaps more. My one wish -- It would be terrific if it had a way to tell me how much battery is left and when to replace. I realize the only connection to the phone is Google's "Find My Device" app which probably does not offer this as a possibility, thus beyond Chipolo's control. I would actually be willing to install a second app that also connects to the device for no other purpose than telling me the battery's remaining life and alerting me when I need to replace. My nightmare is the device dies and I don't notice, and then I've lost something and can't recover it. I'm not going to remember in a year or two to check that these things are working. Even if such a separate "battery life monitor" app were an optional component, that would be super valuable and because it seems possible to do, I'll dock this a point in hope of this recommendation being noticed, and because it is a genuine downside to the product that there is no way to see how much battery remains and that you're at risk of it running out without you noticing and putting your possessions at risk of loss. And being a Google partner, maybe Chipolo might see it as worthwhile to plead with Google to add this ability to its own Find My Device software maybe with a standard means of devices self-reporting their battery level while pinging the network with its presence. UPDATE: Apparently this feature does exist on Find My Device. Pebblebee's product support indicates their own device showing its battery level in the Find My Device app. Any reason theirs can do this but this one can't? I'll get my year or two out of these devices, but at that time we'll see if Chipolo has added this so that I can know whether to buy another otherwise-great Chipolo or give the Pebblebee a try.

Battery is very low after 5 months.
Product works well in terms of showing the card's location on my Pixel phone's "find my device". However today I received a notification telling me the card's battery is low and needs to be replaced - I purchased this only 5 months ago. This is a significantly shorter battery life than the advertised one, and I don't think the batteries in this card can be replaced by the user.

Wicked easy set up! Works however I found the ring/page/alarm a bit quiet.
I hate iPads location/tracker services. Love my androids tracking abilities. My non verbal kiddo has a iPad talk device. Well, it went missing and after days of looking, I broke down and bought her a newer iPad and was determined to not lose track of it one way or another. This flat card tracker was promising. It didn't fit between the iPad and it's case unfortunately, but I put it inside a luggage tag lanyard thingy and strapped it to the back. I followed the minimal instructions to the letter to set it up and it took all of .03 seconds for the card to link to my android phone and be up and running. Within hours, I was using the ring feature on the card to locate the iPad in the house. Personally, the alarm/ring volume is too quiet for me but it still worked. I have spent more money than I'd like to admit replacing lost iPads for my kiddo and she is learning to keep track of it better herself, but let's face it, there's only so much we can ask of her given her disabilities. I hope the battery lasts but I'm already getting my money's worth. Can you make a Roku remote case with this built in 😅? I stay looking for those around this house too!

Only worked for 30 days.
Did not even last 60 days. I installed the app and tested function. It worked fine. A little over a month later I could not find my wallet. I opened the app so that I could see if my wallet was at my house or I left it at my sister's house. The app told me my wallet had not been seen in the past week. It said this even though my wallet was within 10 feet of my phone 24 hours a day. I then tried to refresh the app, and to play a sound. No function. Even after I found my phone and held my wallet 1 foot away, the app will not see my wallet of play a sound on the card. Could the problem be my phone? Nope. Both my Tile and Samsung trackers are functioning fine. Pass on this and buy a name brand instead.

Louder than tile
I was looking for a flat card to make it easier to find my wallet. I have previously used the flat tile. This item seems to be a little bit louder. However, you still have to listen well since the wallet itself muffles the cards pretty well. It does work.

Great customer service
This wallet finder worked just fine for a few months. Exactly as described. Great! Then suddenly it stopped working. It seemed like the battery, but I can't be sure. I contacted their customer service which was fantastic. They asked me for a printscreen of the app and my Amazon invoice. They sent me a replacement card with a few days. Any product can fail, but their after-sales service stepped in quickly. Can't say enough, hence the 5 stars.

Easy Setup and Precise Location Tracking - A Google Find Device Success!
As my tile card had run out of battery, I choose to use Google Find Device. This Chipolo was so simple to set up, and so far it seems really accurate. It even tells me which google home speaker it is closest to in the house, which I thought was cool!
