I bought the Chase Rhubarb & Bramley Apple Gin as a gift for a friend who's a true gin aficionado, and honestly, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. While the flavour combination sounded intriguing, you never know until it's tried! I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by her feedback. She absolutely raved about it! The flavours are excellent, perfectly balancing the tartness of rhubarb with the crisp, sweet notes of Bramley apple. It's a remarkably smooth gin with a depth of flavour that really stands out. This gin is clearly crafted with care, offering a truly lovely and unique drinking experience. It's safe to say this was a fantastic discovery and a gift that was thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend for any gin lover looking for something a bit different and wonderfully delicious!

I did a review for the pink grapefruit in the past when it was with Pomelo and gave 4 stars I think that was 2023 Noticed this and bought it and now giving 5 stars for it with out the Pomelo. I like this so much more than the 2023 Not a tonic lover so with diet lemonade for me, however this will make a great summer evening long drink and it's nice enough now. My favourite pink grapefruit has been the WN This pretty much is a match for it tough,. At first I wasn't to sure it was for me. I only tried a little But had to try it again a couple of times and yes, I would definitely buy this again. Though not if Pomelo or anything else were added back to it. 2023 was a subtile flavour I thought, but this you smell pink grapefruit when you open the bottle and pour it, you get it inb the glass and can actually taste it. 5 stars from me for the new version.

Ich hab diesen Gin über einen Freund entdeckt, der ihn damals in England am Flughafen mitgenommen hat. Im Vorhinein muss ich dazu sagen, dass ich ein großer Grapefruit Fan bin und ich deswegen doppelten Spaß an diesem Gin habe. Ich trinke viele verschiedene Gins aller Preisklassen, meistens im 30+ Euro Segment (Monkey 47, Hendricks etc.) und der Chase hat sich schnell zu einem meiner absoluten Favoriten hochgearbeitet. Gleich einmal dazu gesagt, dieser Gin ist logischerweise nichts für Gin Puristen, die Gin wollen, der nach Gin schmeckt, sprich London Drys etc., aber das sollte einem auch vermutlich klar sein, wenn man einen Grapefruit Gin kauft. Ich muss sagen ich war auch immer eher kritisch gegenüber flavored Gins eingestellt, seit ich jedoch den Chase probiert habe, bin ich wesentlich offener gegenüber dieser Welt geworden. Geschmacklich kommt die Grapefruit stark durch, schmeckt sehr natürlich und nicht nach künstlichem Grapefruit Geschmack. Dadurch, dass Grapefruit eine bittere Frucht ist und man den bitteren Geschmack gewohnt ist, funktioniert das ganze herrlich mit der bitteren Note des Gins und des Tonics. Als Tonic würde ich neutrale Tonics empfehlen, am besten Fever Tree, da der Gin alleine mit seinem Grapefruit Geschmack absolut für den Geschmack ausreicht und man sich den nicht mit einem flavored Tonic verschandeln möchte. Ich trinke diesen Gin unglaublich gerne nach Feierabend, da er nicht zu stark aufträgt und einfach sehr süffig ist, eigentlich perfekt für jeden Anlass. Von mir die Bestnote.

If you like a bit of a zesty taste in gin, then this one is for you. It has a nice taste of grapefruit. The only downside: the bottle always seems to get empty in no time. And of course it wasn't me...
