However, the seller gave me a discount without telling me what was amiss and I had to just accept it may have been the penwand. Much to my relief the Penwand arrived working, but with very low batteries, which we were able to replace. It all worked out well and the book and penwand are much appreciated all round. However, I do feel the seller should have stated/specified what was wrong with the condition in case I decided not to buy. Or perhaps reassured me the penwand was working. I was happy with the price, the packaging and postage at the end of the day. Kept him amused for hours and he keeps going back to it. Lovely informative gift and even more exciting having the interactive map. A real winner!

Good second hand product but info was hard to find
I was worried about this, as the rating went from As New to Used and I couldn't ascertain what might be doing that. The child who was to get it already had another copy of the book, but the penwand was missing. A must for any Harry Potter fan!
I purchased this book for my 9’year old daughter who is an avid Harry Potter fan, and she absolutely loves it. The book contains loads of interesting facts about films. Lovely
Was a birthday gift so unsure of performance, however, i had a sneak peak before i wrapped it and it looked like a lovely book, great for Potter fans.

Brilliant map - but contains spoilers
Great interactive marauder's map for Harry Potter fans. The invisible ink pen in particular was a hit with my 7 and 5 year old. Beware though of serious spoilers in and amongst the book pages for any young fans who might not yet have read the later books or watched the later films. Approach with caution if you don't want any big plotlines revealed.

Best ever HP gift!! With this magic want and map you are set for mischief and adventure!! Real magic actually happens when you light up your Wand and shout Lumous!! You will see who's sneaking around Hogwarts. Lots of information about the story and pictures from the movies (Spoiler alert!! for those yet to read all the books.) Great price, nice quality. I have bought 4 of these for different children and all of their mum's have called to say how much their child has loved it!! Must have!!

Huge auntie brownie points
My nephew loved this. He absolutely adored using the wand to find the footprints and locate who was in Hogwarts. Easily one of the best gifts for any child that loves Harry Potter.

Good value & entertaining
What an excellent little book. It comes with a uv light pen disguised as a wand. The book has a series of maps of grounds & information regarding characters etc but the magic happens when you shine the pen on the map, it lights up hidden information. My young cousins ( 3 boys 6,8&9) who it was brought for really enjoyed it, felt it was very authentic to the actual map. Would recommend to any young Potter fans.
