This is a specialty item....if you have a need for an l-shape rod you know the prices can be pretty wild, so it was nice to find this here on Amazon at such a reasonable price.Rest assured this is quality. It works great. NOTE: I did install a hybrid of the two. I used 1 bolt-in, and the provided glue. Feels very study and I didn't need the ceiling cable support.I recommend.

Easy install and sturdy

I have a pretty large corner shower that is custom tiled with travertine and I have trouble finding curtain rods that will work without some kind of center support. This one works well but I had to make some modifications. First, I used my own anchors and screws to mount the brackets directly to the tile shower wall because I don't believe for a second that the adhesive that comes with this kit was going to hold long term. The other issue is that the rod doesn't fit very snugly into the brackets and the result is that there is a little bit of "play" which allowed the shower rod to sag when holding 2 shower curtains. I fixed this by cutting some little pieces of aluminum sheet metal and using them as shims between the shower rod and the bracket. I think if the parts were machined to fit a little more tightly, it would make the rod more sturdy. I would also suggest, instead of using a set screw at the bottom of the bracket to hold the rod in place, a threaded screw at the top of the bracket that threads into the rod, would work better since it would be pulling the rod up instead of pushing up from under the rod which just kind of tends to bend the rod when it's supporting a lot of weight.

You can’t hang a towel or clothing on it but a plastic shower curtain works fine. I did not install the ceiling wire as it didn’t seem necessary for just the curtain.They only ship 12 curtain hooks, but if you’re using all the bars, you will need to shower curtains and 24 hooks

This is a good quality rod, and it’s adjustable to fit different corner shower sizes. My only issue is with the adhesive it comes with—if you try to use it instead of drilling, it doesn’t hold well. Especially in older homes where the walls aren’t perfectly angled, you’ll likely end up needing to drill it in place anyway.

Loved the universal fit as it was needed for non- standard dimensions. Adjusted to what was required. Perfect fit.also loved the screw free option to mount to tile wall.

This is definitely worth the money, strong, secured with screws, no need for helper line from ceiling. Item arrived with two scratches, paint seems a bit thin but touched them up with some black paint, all good !

It’s sturdy and of good quality. The fit is perfect for our corner shower and it looks great. Installation was straight forward and quick.

A good quality of curtain rod, if your impatience to wait for the sealant to be dry drill is the best way ' I will recommend this rather to buy a PVC type of rod.
