This is a simple charger for Lowe's in store Kobalt brand 24v batteries. It works for charging batteries .That's all fine and dandy, but the description in Amazon promises all kinds of features that are not in the charger. It promises the charger has a built in fan and LCD. Both are simply not true. Upon disasemly there is a simple charging circuit with minimal safety features. And an led indicator light. That's it

Not good for the battery.
This charger doesn't communicate with the battery when charging, the battery won't balance the cells when charging. Wish I would have known that before buying.
