I originally bought the custom engraver that has been advertised on FB for a few years. I was disappointed with that one, I would give it 3 stars. This engraver on the other hand is a few dollars cheap but definitely better. It is longer, but balanced very well, I can hold it like a pencil. Unlike the other one, it isn't slippery and it is very easy to change out the bits. With the other one being slippery, I feel I have to hold it tighter. I have arthritis in my hands and with this engraver I feel comfortable holding it. The vibration and noise is pretty low as well. I am using it for wood carving and it has done a great job. The magnetic wire connection for recharging is great, no pulling on the cable. Great case although it really holds on to the pen and I have a hard time getting it out... not a deal breaker for me. Came with a 3 quarter charge. Case is sturdy and comes with a lot of bits. For wood carving I would recommend picking some 2.3mm double cut carving bits for larger carve outs. They work great with the engraver. The diamond biys work better to smooth out rough cuts. Overall, I am much happier with this one over the fb advertised engraver and it costs less. P.S. this one does have a reverse unlike the other one. Very happy so far with this purchase. I will update if any issues occur.

I picked up this engraving pen mainly for my 3D print projects, and overall it’s a solid little tool for beginners and casual use. Right out of the box, it feels lightweight and easy to handle, almost like holding a regular pen. That makes it great for detailed work. The kit comes with a good variety of bits, which is a big plus—you can switch between fine detail work and slightly deeper engraving without needing to buy extras. Performance-wise, it does exactly what you’d expect for something in this price range. It’s not super powerful, so don’t expect it to cut deep into hard metals, but for light engraving, personalization, or craft work, it gets the job done. I found it works best on wood, plastic, and coated surfaces. Battery life is decent, and being cordless makes it really convenient. No dealing with wires while trying to stay precise. The controls are simple and beginner-friendly, though I do wish it had a bit more power adjustment for finer control. Ordered this pen and when it arrived it seemed to be good quality, however the internal chuck that holds the engraving bits was missing, after returning that pen and ordering another one the second pen had the chuck but was missing the tip end piece that secures the bit. two pens with two different missing pieces. seems to be a good quality pen but be prepared for missing pieces and multiple returns Update: after buying a third the pen works very well, the company was timely and professional with messaging and handling returns, would reccomend the engraving pen.

Bought this for a single purpose, now I use it for a bunch of different solutions. The engraving certainly works well, with so many options to choose from you can be sure to have the right attachment for the given job. I also found this perfectly suited for sharpening very small objects, or tight spaces in particular tools. Removing burrs from 3D prints is another overlooked benefit when I first bought it. Happy with the variable speed and the battery life. At this point I have no constructive criticism, as it does a great job at more than I intended to use it for in the first place

Fantastic engraver, I use it to engrave into plastic spa filters for naming and dating at work. It is powerful, and the battery lasts.

Having done calligraphy for some 50+ years, and tried my hand at wood burning, I felt it was time to give engraving a try. This pen with it's multiple tips is AMAZING!! It's the perfect weight, fits in the hand nicely, very easy to use, provides full control, and well worth the money. My first test was on a wine bottle that gave me the feel for the pen. I next tackled a real bottle that came out beautifully. I strongly suggest that it's best to apply dots and not lines when working the pen. That once the words or picture has been engraved with dots, you can then go back in and finish your project with full lines.

I love these pens; however, I have gone through two of these and one from another company. Obviously I use them a lot, but I wouldn’t expect them to die after a few weeks. So beware if you plan to actually use them! When working, they are great!

I use this every single day in my repair shop, perfect for so many tasks, from laptop lid repairs, motherboard circuit and CPU grinding, hard to remove screws etc. The adjustable speed allows for great precision work. The motor isn't the strongest on the market but for the precision works I do it more than powerful for me. The battery life is amazing, I have charged it from the day I've bought it. Love that I can charge it in the case and the case is super durable. Fits perfectly into my laptop bag for easy portability. Got mine on prime day for maybe 15% off but the regular listed price is still worth it.
