Beetles 15 ml Gel Base and Top Coat with 20ml Nail Dehydrator and Primer

I bought this Beetles kit because I wanted my gel manicures at home to last longer without lifting after only a few days. It has everything needed in one set: nail dehydrator, primer, base gel, and top coat, so I did not have to buy each product separatelyThe dehydrator and primer made a noticeable difference in how well the gel adhered to my natural nails. I used thin layers, cured the base and top coat under my UV/LED lamp, and my manicure came out smooth, shiny, and much more professional-looking. The top coat gives a beautiful glossy finish and has held up well through handwashing and everyday chores.I also like that the bottles are a good size and the products are easy to apply without running all over the nail. This is a great starter kit for anyone doing gel nails or acrylic manicures at home. I would definitely buy it again because it makes the prep process easier and helped my manicure stay neat much longer.

Great set. I do my nails at home and this set has made a huge difference. I love the shine of the top coat. I’m a hairdresser so my nails don’t last as long because I’m in water at the shampoo bowl so much, on top or chemicals. But this lasts for 2 weeks without chipping. I can easily soak it off with acetone for 5 minutes and and start fresh. Takes me 15 minutes to do my nails and saves me $40 each time.

I’ve tried a bunch of nail prep brands over the years, and the ‘Beetles 15ml Protein Nail Prep Dehydrator and Primer’ honestly surprised me with how much better it performed. Most other brands either left my nails lifting after a couple days or felt way too harsh and drying, but this one actually made my gel sets stay on like they signed a lease agreement. The biggest difference is the retention. Once I started using this prep combo, my nails stopped randomly popping off after washing dishes or looking at a cardboard box the wrong way. The primer gives an insanely strong bond without feeling overly aggressive on natural nails, and the dehydrator dries quickly without that awful chemical “my fingerprints are evaporating” feeling some cheaper brands have. Beetles also advertises the formula as HEMA-free and infused with Vitamin E and plant proteins, which makes it feel a lot gentler compared to other harsh primers I’ve used. I’ve also noticed way less lifting around the edges compared to budget brands. With some other products, I’d spend two hours doing a perfect manicure just for one nail to eject itself into another dimension within 48 hours. With Beetles, my nails actually survive daily life. Funny enough, even people online who struggled with Beetles gel polish still admitted that using dehydrator and primer made a massive difference for retention and peeling issues. The color is clear and bottle size is 15ml. For the price, the bottles last forever, the application is easy, and it genuinely feels closer to salon-quality prep than most store brands I’ve tested. My gel nails finally stay attached long enough for me to get bored of the color instead of watching them abandon ship after three days.

Works well with my lamp and two different shades of polish. So far I've only tried it with two, but I'm confident these will work well with my other colors and brands. This is the first time I've ever used builder's gel, and I have to say that it's holding up well, and is keeping my nail very sturdy. I repaired a nail immediately after this package arrived, and I'm happy to say that the polish has not chipped, faded, or lifted at all over the past few days. It also retains its shine much better than my previous top coat (Modelones). You also get much more gel for a comparable, if not better price. If you're in the market for a base, builder, and top coat UV gel, I think you'll be happy with this set. I am so far.

It took some getting used to to finally like this product but I really like Beetles and it helps to add a little hard gel after the design because it is really thick. I would like it to be a bit thinner to be easier to use. Overall good product.

These are great! They have lasted me a really long time. I still have them. They stay on for up to a month, super easy to use, they are not too tacky and the thickness and protection they give to your natural nail is amazing! It takes about 30 seconds under the lamp to dry. They are also easy to remove and don’t damage your nails. Just make sure you are using them on a table or somewhere stable, since the two white bottles, the product they contain is thinner than the two black bottles and it can leak. I love these, will buying again once I run out!

I have a teenage daughter who loves doing her nails and somehow always manages to find time to redo them every other day! She's been really impressed with this gel polish and reaches for it often. She finds it easy to apply, and it gives her manicure a beautiful, crystal-clear top coat with a smooth, glossy finish. It helps her nails look polished and salon-quality without much effort. Based on her experience, it's definitely a product she'd recommend to fellow nail enthusiasts.

Works very well! After a few brushes over the chrome the loose glitter is all gone, and gives a very clean finish!

This 3D gel is hard to create anything seen in their nail art example photos. I've had to use a brush dipped in alcohol to move the product around because it's so thick. It works for some art, cures just fine under my UV light and holds up.
