Perfect 2 year old gift
This was a gift for my friends 2 year old. The packaging was great and protected it while traveling for delivery. My son used to play with these and loved how interactive they were. It comes reassemble so no worries with hard assembly. Quality is great and the price is spot on. You get a car and a track which is good considering two of the cars alone is $15. Its a great size for a toddler

Toddler took it apart easy
Instructions were so tiny I just looked at the photo on this listing and put it together that way. After all that, my 21 month old took most of it apart within 5 minutes. Wished they’d snap together better for a stronger hold. He loves these toys but it’s a pain to have to keep putting them back together & then lose parts. Not very durable.

My son spotted this toy car rescue center in the Amazon catalog before Christmas and instantly became obsessed. He would bring the catalogue out constantly to show us again and again. Now that he has it, he’s absolutely thrilled. He plays with it all day, every day, and it’s holding up beautifully to his rough-and-tumble play style. The set was super easy to put together—no stress for mom and dad—and the design is so fun and engaging. Total win!

This set is pretty easy to assemble according to the instructions. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble including applying the stickers. The stickers are very sticky so be sure that they are placed correctly before pressing them down otherwise it may rip. All the pieces snap together and can only go in one place so there's less chance of installing a part in the wrong place. The plastic is soft and flexible so it can take some abuse from your little one. There is 1 talking car, 1 passive (non-talking) fire truck, and a helicopter (also non-talking) included in this set. The talking car is a police car and it appears to be modelled after a Crown Victoria. Under the hood appears to be a V6. Yes, the hood can open up. The car talks and sings. The car can be activated by either pressing the button, opening thr hood, picking it up (seems to detect being moved) and placing it on the play set. Batteries are included so you can play with it right out of the box. The cars are very durable and have survived my toddler throwing and dropping it. One thing I don't like about this play set, is the "elevator" to launch the car down the ramp. By using only the tab to raise the elevator, it becomes crooked when it reaches the top. This causes the car to get stuck. I had to show my toddler to lift the elevator from the bottom in order for the car to slide down. There is a service lift that comes with this set. It has a nifty mechanism where you can lift the car and it locks in the up position. You can unlock it by pressing the lift back up and it will unlock and go back down. Overall, this set is pretty nice. It feels durable enough to survive the abuse my toddler throws at it.
