These only arrived this morning, but I've already tried them & am most impressed with them.When young, I could use secateurs and/or other implements requiring constant squeezing for hours with little to no ill-effects. At over 60, more than a few minutes of this kind of thing now leaves me with a hand that aches for hours afterwards.....a sign of impending arthritis, I suppose. These are nicely lightweight & well-balanced, and make trimming in the garden a pleasure once again.No idea yet of what the battery life will be like, but upon receipt I gave them a short charge to bring them up to full capacity. And, talking of which.....I just want to address the charging issue, which I notice a lot of people have questioned. DO be aware that these don't come with a separate charger - which many are used to; instead, they come with a USB-A to USB-C lead. This is nothing to fret over, because toward the back of the user manual it clearly states that ANY modern phone charger will charge these power secateurs. Almost all modern phone chargers come with a USB port, into which you plug a supplied lead that terminates in a USB-C connector.....and 5V/1A on the output side is pretty much universal.This is the stated requirement from the manufacturer. Most desktop PCs can also supply sufficient current through, say, a USB-3 port. To receive rechargeable items with only a lead supplied is becoming normal practice now.....after all, the USB standard has been around for almost 30 years now, and it's a rare household that hasn't got at least some kind of suitable charger with a USB output socket.It's progress (so they say)..! A supplied charger tends to be the province of larger power tools these days. I purchased a Black & Decker power screwdriver the year before last.....which also simply came with a lead. I've had a "universal" USB charger for many years, which I bought from our local Pound Shop, and this has proved to be the best £1 investment I ever made...Mike.

I bought this November 2025. At first it was brilliant. I trimmed a few bushes and then I recharged and cleaned it and packed it away for the winter. I took it out 2 weeks ago and gave it a charge and trimmed a bush. Then it just locked the blades and won’t work. It is fully charged up and I have oiled the blades but still nothing. It is very disappointing so don’t waste your money on this.

Great item help get garen cut back i find normal secators hurt my hand after a few snips, these let me do alot more but they are not light weight. So a sort rest, as they get warm as well then start again charge last well good item for any gardener to have but if you have hand issues could be trickie to use.

Not sure how I've managed gardening without this tool. It cuts thick branches really easily and saves my poor arthritic hands.

First.. how fantastic was Amazon delivering on same as ordering. I had spent ages trying to saw some branches off an overgrown shrub without success. Having recently lost my husband who hated gardening but I could always rely on him to help me with the heavy jobs. I saw these cordless pruners....ordered and same day was out dealing with the branches. Once you get the knack of holding down the safety switch to work the pruner its great. Its not going to cut the really huge branches but it went thru a lot more than I thought. Then I had the task of cutting them again to get them in my garden waste bin ....made that job much quicker too. Obviously this review made after only one day so I hope they continue to prune for a very long time
