This child carrier backpack was an absolute GAME CHANGER for our trip. It’s insanely lightweight (like shockingly light), folds up really well for packing, and has SO much storage space. I was honestly impressed with how much we could fit in it. The built-in sun shade was a huge win! My daughter loved it, and she was super comfy the entire time. She loved it so much that she would literally ask to “sit on the backpack” all the time 🥹 We took this on a 2-week cruise through Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, and it allowed us to do things we absolutely would not have been able to do with a stroller and a 1.5-year-old. We climbed temples, went on hikes (with monkeys), explored uneven terrain, and even rode an ATV…and she loved all of it. Bonus: everywhere we went, people stopped, stared, and smiled at the baby in the backpack, which made the experience even sweeter. She was happy, comfortable, and secure the whole time. If you’re traveling with a toddler and don’t want to feel limited, this is 100% worth it. Comfortable, practical, and honestly made our trip possible. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I feel overall a good carrier. I am no expert in hiking backpacks, and haven’t taken it to trek in the wilderness, but have been trekking in the urban jungles. Without a doubt the pack is large, and if you do decide to carry it on your sprawls through the streets, you gotta be mindful of people and things around you. Definitely almost knocked into people and things over. For flights, it can certainly fit in most standard overhead bins, but mostly horizontal or diagonally folded down. I was allowed to take it on flights, but then again, it definitely doesn’t fit in the sizer for domestic flights. I’d be for stricter airlines, they’d probably make you check it. It can fit one stuff folded down, but not a whole lot. It’s comfortable, but carrying a 20-ish pound baby with all the accoutrements will wear on you shoulders, back, and legs. Again, I’m not experienced backpacker/hiker. If you’re used to wearing a 30 lbs rucksack and marching for hours, I’m sure this will be a breeze. The sun canopy is toggles and gets velcroed into the back, wish they were snaps. The rest, quality osprey bag stuff that they are known for.

Worked great for our (almost) 2 year old on our trip to multiple national parks. Easy to use, lightweight, and comfortable enough to fall asleep in.

I dont hike but I want to now! I got this because it started to become a challenge to carry my baby on my chest all the time. Couldn't really do chores or anything since id have to try and dodge him. Haha Now my hands/arms are free to wash dishes or do laundry. I do wish there was more padding in the lower back area or some type of accessory I could get for that. Might just find some foam or pillow. Its not the worst, but more padding would just be nice! Its much better on my hips than the front carry was. Since i dont backpack/hike its takings some getting used to since im using muscles i dont usually use, but thats alright too! My baby loves to go in and walk around outside. He really likes the sunshade too, like a little fort. Very easy to use and has a lot of storage too. Feels like a really well made carrier and I dont worry about him falling out, so it feels secure too. I did look into a bunch of other back carry options before deciding on this Osprey one. The others were either too bulky looking or looked like I would have trouble getting my 9 month old in it. This one seemed large enough and small enough. I walk around my house with it on and dont bump anything. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Perfect for outdoor adventures- my boy even falls asleep in there sometimes! Family loves it so much even grandma wanted to rock it!

A little straining on my back, but overall seems comfortable for my toddler and has a lot of compartments to hold other things.

I didn't get to compare this to other carriers. I use it in NYC with my 31-pound son. I wanted something that could replace both the stroller and having him on my shoulders—taking a stroller on the subway is impractical, so the Osprey Poco keeps my hands free while doubling as a weighted vest for my daily workout. I've used it almost every day for nearly two months. If you're using it regularly, get the rain cover. It rained recently, and while the sun visor kept him dry, I'd have felt better with full coverage rather than worrying about him getting soaked. My son has napped in it and loves being up high during our city walks. So far, no complaints.

Top shelf carrier...Osprey is the best! Took it with us for a western US hiking trip and it performed perfectly...the rain cover was amazing. So many people stopped us on the trails to ask us where we got it. Couldn't ask for more from a child carrier.

On a hésité avec le modèle plus gros, mais ce Poco LT est parfait pour notre usage. Il est impressionnant de légèreté tout en restant super confortable pour le porteur et pour le petit à condition de bien le régler. Le vrai plus, c’est qu'il se replie presque à plat, ce qui est génial pour le ranger dans le coffre déjà plein. Le pare-soleil intégré est super pratique et se déploie en deux secondes. Seul petit bémol : l'espace de rangement est un peu limité si on veut emporter tout le matériel de puériculture, mais pour des randos à la journée, c'est le top. Bref, la qualité Osprey est au rendez-vous. Je recommande sans hésiter !

En la descripción pone que lleva la protección solar y la nuestra llegó sin. Ahora si nos hace casi imposible encontrar protectores solares en tiendas.

Exceeded our expectations! Super easy to assemble, love that you can fold it all the way down and zip it up for easy traveling. Very comfortable and makes walking/hiking as a family a breeze. Baby loves it!
