GREAT pan
This is a beautiful pan. A little bigger than I expected for some reason but perfect for my needs. I seasoned it as per the directions and cooked my firt meal in it tonight, a chicken and veggie sautee for meal prep. My stove is an old gas model and the big burner does not evenly heat. I've done everything I know to correct that but it just has an uneven flame. That didn't matter with this pan. The heat distribution was even and everything cooked beautifully. I'm delighted. The lid is great and although I feel it needs to be fiddled with to fit securely, I think I just need more experience with it. Clean up was a breeze; nothing stuck on this baby. And the depth was great for the larger recipe I was making. I see fried chicken in my near future.

Affordable, reliable!
I was hesitant buying this frying pan, but I’m so glad I did. I really wanted the name brand but the price is really outrageous. This frying pan is amazing I will be buying more of SNOWCLAD products. High quality, even heating and easy cleaning.

Best Pan I’ve Ever Used.
This is the best sautéed pan I’ve ever used! It’s oven safe also. It looks like it’s Teflon coated but it is not like any coated pans or skillets I’ve had before. It’s sturdy and distributes the heat evenly. The lid fits securely too. I’ve done steaks in it and they’ve seared nicely. I always use rubber tools on all my cooking items. It’s so easy to pick up and the handles do not get hot. I’ve been on a Mediterranean diet and use this as a one pan meal. I only use EVO on it. It sautés everything. I can go from stove top to oven if needed. It cleans so easily. I did season it prior to using it. Easy to do. I am going to check if they make other pans or pots. If so I’m replacing all my old pans. If they had 10 stars I’d rate it that!

Good quality without the extra cost!!
Was skeptical since am not familiar with the brand just looked over the reviews. This pan did not disappoint!! Delivered on time, packaged with care with no visible damage tho it wasnt as heavy as I thought it would be. Heats up rather quickly but cooks evenly. Cleaning is a breeze.

Good quality and lightweight hybrid pan
I’m a self trained chef that has been in the industry for a long time. I’ve cooked professionally, but I love cooking at home still. I’ve used lots of different cookware overtime, new and old, cheap and expensive. Overall, I’m very happy with this offering from snowclad. I’ve used many types of these hybrid style pans. While this isn’t as heavy or robust as some of the higher price point or big name brand pans, I do appreciate that they’re lighter weight because of that. I love the size of this pan and the versatility that it offers. I experienced very good and even heat distribution overall. Good browning and no chemical smell or taste. I should also mention the pan is beautiful. Slightly cheaper finish and really shows finger prints, but still nice overall. This is not AS anti stick as your traditional anti stick pans. Fat is your friend when searing anything. I’ve made steamed dumplings, stir fries, seared steak and made steak sandwiches, sautéed shrimp. All great so far. Everything should be great as it’s a new pan but the real test will be how does it hold up to washing and lots of use. So far I really love this pan and it comes in at a great price point compared to some others and would recommend it to anyone looking to ditch traditional non sticks.

Nice. Easy to clean.
Followed instructions to pre-season. Later that evening made some taco meat. Was so nice to cook with. Washed up so easily. I bought this primarily for the side handles as my old non stick pan had a long handle and as i am over 65, I am wanting things that are easier to handle and clean. I do not use a dishwasher for pots, pans, knives etc. Anyways loved this pan. So nicely made. First time use. I am looking forward to many other meals made in this pan.

SnowClad brings the heat!
So far so good! I love a good pan and will pay for the crazy cast iron dutch ovens from France etc, but this style is newer to me anyways and the much more expensive ones seemed too gimmicky to me, and when i came across SnowClad it just looked nearly identical at such a good price i had to try it out. I made southern style hash browns that came out perfectly soft inside and crispy outside with only a small amount of sticking that released once the pan cooled a bit on a trivet, so first cook went well. This pan advises to season it before use, and to also use a low temp and i can definitely say it is a LOT like cooking with my enameled cast iron pans where things will stick if it gets too hot, but easily releases once the pan cools (with the food resting inside too) and anything left behind cleaned off easily. I struggle with our electric flat stovetop (prefer gas) but once i get the hang of where this pan likes to be temperature wise it’s going to be great. I have been noticing pans lately do not hold up to cooking meals every day for a larger family without warping and bowing up in the middle instead of staying flat on the bottom, and i am also trying to get away from the chemicals in nonstick pans as much as i can, though they still have their place (eggies!) This SnowClad pan is heavy without being crazy uncomfortable to maneuver and i’m really excited to see what else i can make with it, hope it does continue to get a bit more seasoned from use. The lid fits perfectly, love the shape of it and how easy it is to clean, and the little vents a lot of lids come with now as well. Will update if the pan starts to degrade or warp, but i’m super happy so far with everything i’ve made.

Not completely non-stick, but quite nice to cook with
First, I want to say I chose this based on the fact it was a stainless/aluminum combo and was PFAS-free. I have a ceramic top electric stove and ALL of my large aluminum skillets have bowed in the center, making them spin like a top. So far I have tried cooking an over-easy egg without using any butter. That’s a no-go. I had hoped this was similar to a non-stick granite-stone pan and I had even followed the directions to season the skillet first before using. While making the egg, I added just a few shaves of butter and the egg released pretty easily. So, don’t think you can cook without any oil or butter. Last night I made chicken pieces coated with flour in it before adding my creamy sauce ingredients. I had used two tablespoons of olive oil and the entire skillet was filled with chicken pieces. They browned nicely on low, leaving bits of delicious nuggets here and there. Once I removed the chicken and added my liquid ingredients, everything came loose and nothing stuck. I am finding it easier to cook at a lower temp to get the best results. Cleanup was a breeze. Nothing stuck at all. At this point, I’m quite happy with this pan, and I may actually order a few other sizes. It’s also quite lovely. However, I’m a bit disappointed in the rather large dent the lid came with, though packaging was great. It’s not worth me returning it, but since I’m careful with my cookware, it bugs me that it came pre-dented. You will need to install the long handle with the tool they provide. No biggie. The pan is quite heavy and sturdy. The opposite small handle does not get hot while cooking and I used it often since my hands are compromised at my age. The lid is really nicely made aside from the free dent it came with! I will give this four stars, and will change my rating if I discover pluses or minuses along the way. My rating is based upon the free dent and inability to totally go oil-free, though that may be the stainless versus non-stick aluminum compromise.

Great Pan!
Bought this December 2024. Read the instructions and don’t use on high heat, like it says. It’s a great pan: we are very pleased with it. It is non-stick when used as per instructions, which we have done. Would definitely recommend this pan.

Great Skillet but calling it Non-Stick is a Stretch!
We upgraded to a wonderful induction stove recently and so have been replacing some cookware that did not respond well to induction. This SNOWCLAD pan works extremely well on an induction stove. It heats up virtually instantly. The cookware feels quite solid down to its lid. Having short handles saves storage space compared to our previous supposedly induction skillet that took a long time to get warm. The material used is composite. so there is some vibration noise when in use. It is minor though. The skillet is very well built. It is so flat that it easily slides on the stovetop, so sometimes one had to hold the other side to keep it centered. The one true downside of this one though is that it is only partially non-stick. We can't cook anything in it without oil or butter and expect it not to stick. Its too bad because we used to have an older skillet of the same size that was non-stick yet it didn't work properly on induction.

Hots spots - curved bottom
Don’t buy this pan - especially for frying. It has hot spots and bottom surface is curved so oil or butter etc. pools at edge of pan. A total waste of money.

Don't buy it!!!
I don't like it. I've had it for a month, but when I put oil in it, the oil gathers around the edges instead of the center. I shouldn't have to use so much oil.
