Great product

I left the coil as is and mounted the coil inside in ceiling dome light fixture (after ripping out the 120VAC bulb sockets). I installed it in my RV. I combined it with a push button dimmer and now I have the perfect lighting in my RV's great room.

These lights are attractive, they look like they are well-made, and the remote and app offer many operational options. It should be noted however that the shorter 16.4 ft unit is the only one with even lighting with no hot spots. The longer 32.8 ft version appears to be an older model and there are hot spots similar to the picture provided promoting the short version. That picture rightfully disappears when you click on the longer length. The remotes are also different and the smartphone apps are from different vendors as well. The buttons on the remote are different but I was able to control some functions from the newer remote on the older rope light. As I was mounting these outside I decided not to use the hard plastic brackets that were provided (in the shorter version of the product (I noted that the longer rope came with the polypropylene version clips). Most such plastics don't hold up in the hot Florida sun so I opted for a polypropylene one designed for 5-6mm neon rope lights. A pack of 30 was $8.50 on Amazon. I spaced them around 18" apart and that was adequate but I needed tighter spacing at corners where I placed two mounts 3" from 90-degree corners making them 6" apart. Note also that these brackets are designed to hold the light rope from the narrow side and bending the light around 90-degree corners requires you to space the brackets to allow for a more gentle arc. The transformer and main controller are not waterproof so they must be mounted inside a watertight box, at least in Florida where rain falls and blows in all directions, even up. Mounting tip: The mounting clips are difficult to work with. The small mounting screws need a tiny Phillips head screwdriver so some mounting areas may be hard to manage. The neon rope is also difficult to wedge into the clips. I found that I could attach the polypropylene clips (the shorter rope used hard plastic) to the neon rope light first. I could then use LET'S RESIN UV Resin Kit to mount the clips in place. I just applied the resin glue to the clip that was attached to the rope light, pressed it into place, and then I used the supplied UV rechargeable light (in the kit) to cure the resin cement in 8-10 seconds. You could also use a 3M double-sided tape if the mounting surface could be damaged by the resin. I attached the rope light under an outdoor bar with a cement top above a painted 2X4 support above a glass block wall. With the rope light suspended beneath the underside of the top, an 18" clip spacing was eventually not sufficient to prevent sagging and needed more clips. I also plan to make the final cut of the excess rope light at the hard to find/see marks on the longer version of the rope. The shorter version 16.4 ft unit has marks that are even harder to see. I will add to this review if I run into problems after cutting on the mark. Overall, the finished product is very nice.

I could tell from the get go that these string lights were going to be quite good just by how sturdy they felt, they are quite strong and very well made, installation was quite simple and fast, the adhesive on one side of the string is actually quite strong and functional, they lights themselves are great as they look quite great, very bright and solid, the remote control works has good reach and works flawlessly and it is easy to operate, Overall i am quite happy with my purchase and i most definitely recommend these string lights, they are worth every penny. I am sure they will last for a long ling time.

Seems pretty durable, i use it along my driveway to mark the edge so that people stay off my grass.

Excellent product for our Sauna! We've had these lights installed in our sauna for well over 6 months now, and they are going just as good as when we installed them. We use the sauna daily -- it's on for about 90 minutes each time. So, it's not like they don't withstand the elements frequently. Excellent product.

I installed a lot of this underneath Rvs with a wireless remote control 120v and it’s a wonderful addition for mood indirect lighting and to see under RV .

I got this to make a light box for a vintage stained glass window. It was Ideal, bends around the corners and came with clips to hold it in place. It also has a dimmer so I could set the output.

Led strip is prima, de klemmen zijn slecht, deze houden de strip niet vast als deze tegen het plafond wordt gemonteerd. Een aluminium uitvoering zou perfect zijn.

Ich bin noch nicht zum Aufbau meiner Gaming-Ecke gekommen, aber ich habe natürlich sofort meine zwei (ich habe zwei bestellt) Neon LED Streifen ausprobiert und sie funktionieren absolut einwandfrei und lassen sich sowohl mit Alexa als auch mit Google Home steuern! Zwei Sachen sind mir nach mehrfachen an- und ausstecken aufgefallen. 1. Die letzte Einstellung bleibt gespeichert auch wenn man es vom Strom nimmt, jedoch nur 4x, danach, also wenn man es das 5 Mal in die Steckdose einsteckt, fangt es an alle Farben schnell durchzublinken wie beim ersten Start. 2. Wenn man die Leuchtstärke dimmt, kann man beim genauen Lauschen unter einem halben Meter am Netzteil ein ganz leises Summen/Brummen wahrnehmen, auf 1m ist es schon nicht mehr zu Hören. Das Netzteil als auch der Neon LED Streifen selbst werden auch nach mehreren Stunden in Betrieb, sowohl gedimmt als auch mit voller Leuchtkraft (5m Streifen) nicht heiß, bleibt also maximal warm und wird somit wahrscheinlich auch nicht stark belastet, was auf ausreichend Leistung deutet, von daher Top! Zur Wasserdichtheit kann ich persönlich nichts Sagen, wird aber wohl für die Meisten hier auch egal sein. Die Leuchtkraft kann auf dem Foto hier nicht wie in echt dargestellt werden, da die Smartphone Kamere (S23+) sofort hier das Bild verändert... Das Foto habe ich jetzt bei Tageslicht und eingeschaltem Licht um 09:00 Uhr aufgenommen, also es ist ausreichen hell im Haus, jedoch wird alles im Hintergrund des Neon LED Streifens dunkel dargestellt, weil es sehr hell ist und wirklich blendet! Zudem muss ich Sagen dass ich vorher andere Neon LED Streifen anderer Hersteller hatte und von der Leuchtkraft und schönheit der Farben, konnte keiner auch nur ansatzweise Mithalten, angefangen beim Preis/Leistung Verhältnis! Man sieht die einzelnen LEDs nicht, sondern einfach nur einen gleichmäßigen starkleuchtenden NEON Streifen, also genau das was ich wollte! Fast mithalten konnten da nur die Govee Neon LED Streifen, diese kosten jedoch weit mehr als das Dreifache und wenn man bedenkt was man hier für sein Geld bekommt, sind Andere ihr Geld schlicht und einfach nicht Wert! Und jetzt wo ich mehrere Hersteller/Modelle Testen konnte, würde ich mich auch bei gleichem Preis, für dieses, vergleichsweise doch sehr günstige Produkt entscheiden, weil einfach mehr Leuchtkraft! Jedenfalls werde ich euch auf dem Laufendem halten, sollte irgendetwas kaputt gehen oder nicht/nicht mehr Funktionieren. Anderenfalls ist alles in bester Ordnung, sonst würde ich hier Jammern kommen :)
